My husband recieved that exact same RFE. They are implying that they can not locate your medical. It has been stated on the forums that contract worker are the first to receive our applications. As such they do not know the policy and procedures of those who entry with the K1 visa and the approved medical requirement

So.... We went to an Infopass and let me say that was a complete waste of time. The local uscis do not have your file. It is being processed at the National Benefits Center first. Other who have tried this route also did not find it helpful.

I have contacted my senator and they are on it as of Monday. They are waiting for a reply which I was told could take up to 2 weeks. I do not know if it was a mistake but I also decided to sent the RFE letter with a written statement about how the medical should be at a USCIS office because it was handed in a the POE. In the letter, I sent the vaccination supplement and the reciept of the medical. I had already sent in the vaccination transcription by the CS. Well I got a status update per email and it said that they have recieved my response and the case has resumed. But from what i understand it does not mean that they will like what I sent. So I am hoping that the senator will still be able to do some thing about it. I call today, the NBC have not responded to her yet.

I pretty sure that they do not want the transcription again. They want the overseas medical and if you can't provide it they are saying to turn in the I-693 by a CS, which in turns means they want you do a new full medical. I would try the senator inquiry first if it is about money or principle. Or you could get a full medical if it not that expensive in your area. I have started calling around and I found one who will do the full medical including the TB and blood test for $125.

LOL...that will be us too since my daughter will be at her dad's this weekend! When she's there is the only time we get to sleep in..lol! And then with the weather being bad most of the weekend, we're FINALLY going to paint her room! We've been putting it off but she made us promise to do it this weekend...lol!

Aww, how cute. And you have such a great hubby to be helping you out with that. I got a good one, too. Although you're way better than me, I'm waiting for the technology that will allow rooms to change color at the touch of a button.

It's hard to say what exactly is going to happen and in what order...however from what I've read on here if you get transferred to CSC you USUALLY get your EAD and AP approved before your GC and without an interview. If its not sent to CSC then I THINK you will have your interview before you get your EAD/AP...if i'm not correct, please, someone tell me!!! As for what you need at the interview, again from what I've read they will want to see things showing you have a bonafide relationship...that would be things like joint rental/mortage paperwork on your house or apartment, joint bank accounts, joint bills like electricity, gas, water...etc. Pretty much anything that will show them that you are incorporating your lives.

There is not a specific sequence that the EAD/AP and GC comes. It depend on the spend in which the different departments are working. I have seen the interview happens and the persons get the green card. Then they may receive thier EAD/AP later. Eventhough, by that time they do not need it. AOS takes some time for some people so those document let you work and travel while your waiting for them to make a decision on your case.

On the AOS forum, there is a full list pinned about what type of things you could take to the interview. But you have the idea..... anything that will show that you have tangled your lives in a way that you just can't walk away the moment you got approved and that you have trust in the other person. ... Beneficary on the life policy, share health insurance, joint membership in gym or clubs and etc

I do have a great hubby! He loves doing the renovations....and believe me, we have a lot to do. We bought this house last summer while he was still in the Netherlands and it's an older, fixer upper. I made sure to show him all of it that I could and he liked the idea of being able to fix it how we wanted. We've finished two rooms so far out of 7 and part of the outside is painted. We're ready for spring and warm, dry weather to come so we can get the outside painting done. This is one project we'll be working on for a while, but it's a lot of fun...lol!

congrats! But how come u got interview before u got ur EAD? Does that mean u guys will get a GC an skip the rest?

Hi! No idea - I didn't think the interview would come before EAD either... but from what I read is that EAD/AP and GC are separately worked on, so one may be faster than the other. I guess it's just luck whether your application lands on a fast worker's desk or not. I wish I could send some flowers to whoever was processing mine so fast :D

Good luck guys, and I hope everyone waiting for bio is getting the letter today !!!!
