02.12.10 - Recieved NOA in the mail for AOS, EAD, AP (dated 2/8/10: Day 1)

02.16.10- Biometrics appointment for 3.4.10 (dated 2.11.10)

02.18.10 - Early biometrics! walk-in (day 10)

02.22.10 - RFE for Medical (dated 2.18.10)

02.23.10 - Infopass (not helpful)

02.26.10 - Sent reply to RFE for I 693 to Lee's Summit and sent letter to senator (day 18)

03.01.10 - Delivery confirmation for RFE by Lee's summit and senator

03.04.10 - Status update: Case has resumed; letter from senator stating case is with adjunctor(day 24 )

03.08.10 - AOS application transferred to CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER... No updates on EAD or AP (day 28)

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

How much does UPS charge for overnight delivery? I sent my AOS package through USPS express mail using the flat rate envelope with signature requested. I used usps.com and the label number off of the reciept to track it. It arrived the next day at 11:30 am. The cost of that was $18.30. If you do not use the flat rate box it would cost more but I forgot how much more.

I am sorry for the extra posts. My internet connection is terrible right now.

Not sure what UPS will charge. I'm going to call them on my way home and find out....if I have a chance to, I'll let you know later today... :thumbs:

Quick question for y'all....I was going over our packet last night trying to decide how much "extra" stuff to send. Did any of you include photos, joint account statments, bills with your spouses name on them?

I did include all what you asked as prove of good faith marriage. I sent 12 pieces of evidence. Good luck.

We used USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation for our package. It got there in 2 days and it cost us $5.60. It was quite cost-effective.

I was stupid, I used UPS Overnight = almost 60 dollars.

I sent my I-130 + I-485 (no I-131 and no I-765 because I'm a L1A holder) last Thursday, 4th and they received on the 5th 10am. I didn't know the existence of G-1145 e-Notification, so I keep checking my bank account to see if the checks were cashed. I hope we all get a smooth process.

Miami-Chicago, UPS Overnight costed me $58.24

That's pretty much what I paid for FedEx overnight before-10:30-am delivery as well. Didn't know USPS was that much cheaper.

But then again, I've heard of USPS losing/misplacing stuff and I considered the AOS package way too important to get lost :) plus, FedEx has real time delivery notification while USPS's delivery status can lag by a day or two. I consider it $45 extra dollars well spent for my peace of mind during the night the package was traveling to Chicago!
