I'm still waiting on Marriage Certificates. I guess that's what happens when you get married a state over, haha.

You will probably have to goto a CS for getting the vaccination sheet transcribed. You can try to send in the vaccination suppliment that they would have given you (like I did) but I don't recommend doing that if she had any vaccines that were marked as still being needed as its pretty much guaranteed from what Ive been reading to get an RFE in those cases. If she didnt you can chance it like me and hope you won't get an RFE. If you do all it will mean is at that point you will need to goto a CS to get the transcription, not too bad.

When did your package arrive at USCIS? You should make a timeline in your signature so it's easier to track progress (see my signature) :) Good luck! No NOA1 for me yet either...

Ok...last minute things running through my head...lol!

Did anyone use money orders' rather than checks? I don't have checks with my bank account and bought money orders instead. Hoping that it won't be a pain to track them....

And wondering whether or not to send the package overnight through the post office......with Monday being a holiday I'm thinking it might be a good idea...

The main reason for using checks is that you know for sure when they were cashed, and you get to see the receipt numbers on the back (when the bank supplies you with scanned images of the cashed check). I also like to have that piece of "evidence" in my possession, just in case. If you don't have checks, why not have someone else you know allow you to use their bank account? I don't think you can get this level of detail with money orders.

Also, I sent my package through FedEx. It costs a bit more, but I got a full signature-scan delivery confirmation the moment it arrived. USPS is known for being much slower in updating their delivery status etc. - depends on the level of peace of mind you want :)

The only people that would be able to do a check would be my parents but I've already bought the money orders so I can't do that now. We used a money order when we did the K1 and I was able to track it through the money order company but since this is going through a different office I wasn't sure how well it would work this time. Guess I'll just have to wait and see...

Would you mind sharing how much it cost to use FedEx? I was thinking of using UPS simply because there is a UPS store in my town.

Hugs, Liz

I paid approx $50 for overnight express next-day delivery before 10:30am. You can get FedEx for as low as $12-$15 though, but that's then FedEx Ground with 4+ days. Also, you don't need to ask for separate "signature service" as FedEx automatically obtains signatures for all deliveries to businesses or government agencies.

Hmm...ok, thanks for the info!

I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth even sending it overnight simply because I'm not sure if they would even get started processing it in any way tomorrow.....and then with Monday being a holiday they won't be there....I'll share the info you gave me with my hubby and see what he thinks!

Thanks again! VERY much appreciated!

You'd probably want it to arrive tomorrow to get the earlier priority date. That way, your application is ahead of everybody else filing over the weekend until Tuesday next week.

Oh...your so right...I hadn't thought about that!

Thank you for the reminder!!!!
