Question: When I get my Biometrics Appointment letter can I walk-in before the appointment dat and get it done? If so what should I tell them?

Yes you can at some ASC's (application support centers). Not at all of them, e.g. someone else wrote that they got turned away in Miami. They typically don't have public phone numbers, so your only way to find out is to go there and try.

You can tell them that you won't be available at the originally scheduled date because of work, other commitments etc. -- I wasn't asked for a reason at all.

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

Lol Best of luck to you!. I just took a peek at the January spreadsheet and they only have 16 people out of 103 that have interviews (and only 21 transfers) scheduled so far though, so it might be a few more weeks still. I looked through specifically for our areas (Santa Ana for me and San Fran for you) and it doesnt look like the people from our areas from last month have gotten their interviews yet, but they only filed a couple weeks before us. Hopefully once they get theirs ours won't be far behind! My biometrics is tomorrow, and I'm a bit nervous :lol: I'm kind of surprised though that only 6 people from Jan have gotten their EAD's approved when 16 of them have interviews in that will be happening within the next month...
