Hi there,

Did you send them the G-1145 where they'll notify you electronically? From what I've seen they're usually pretty good on that. Otherwise, it takes them a couple of days to process and cash checks. So just be patient and know the NOA's are coming

They do take a couple of days from when USPS says it's delivered to when they actually process your case. I waited almost a week for my check to cash So relax and good luck!

It's been practically a week now since they have it... the checks haven't been cashed and I didn't receive anything in the mail either. Unfortunately I didn't send a G-1145 with my forms. I'm really hoping to get some sign of activity tomorrow..

From the way I understand it if you don't get it before your marriage then they make you wait until you have either the EAD or Green Card.....not sure why, makes no sense to me but then again not much that they do does...hehe!

Morning everyone....still waiting on my hubby's lab results and then we'll get our AOS sent!

Hugs, Liz

I was always told that you have to apply as soon as you come in the country if not than after you apply for EAD.
