Interview IS DONE!! Our interviewer was awesome! We got chosen to complete a written form about each other. We went in the interview together than seperated. The form we had to complete was about 6 pages and asked detailed questions about our lives togther, family, finances, type of soap we used, etc. It was about 80 questions. We then had to answer a few verbal questions. Our answers were compared and the interviewer said she had never seen a couple that answered all the questions the same. We had the same answers to all the questions! I was a little worried my husband may not know things like the dates of births of all of my children or grandchildren put he was right on the money! Our card productions has been ordered!

God's speed to all those who are still waiting and we hope your interviews are as easy as ours was!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I wonder when my turn will come? I am beginning to lose hope... *sniff sniff* :(

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On October 13, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you...

I just can't believe it! I was so bummed out a few weeks ago because of the 2nd RFE, but now THIS! Totally unexpected.

MY GREEN CARD HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!! WOOHOO!!!

I have a few questions, though:

1. I thought I'm a "Conditional Resident" after the approval. Then, why does it say "Permanent Resident" on the card?

2. What's the next step?

3. Should I destroy my EAD card?

4. Can I travel out of the country using my green card? For how long can I travel?

1. Yes it's says permanent but look on the expiration date...only valid for 2 yrs.

2. Next step, 90 days before your card expired, you will again apply for 10 yr card.

3. It's up to you. U can do whatever u want on your EAD. :D

4. Yes u can travel outside the US. U can travel as much as u want as long as your green card is valid. Just check every country u wanna go for some of theme needs visa.

Goodluck!

I have a follow-up question: So does that mean that I can make short visits to the Philippines and then go back to the US without any problems at the POE? I would just show my green card?
