Hello fellow Feb AOS Filers! Long time no talk too, I guess life happens and thats'a good thing! This year, John and I got married on 1-23, we had Valentines day, the birth of our grand daughter Marcella, started biking, had my birthday, went and saw Jeff Dunham Live and suffered through losing my sister to Cancer. But like anyone elses's lives we have our good and our bad, then our good usually happens again. for John and I our good came 2 days before my sister passed on July 13, we went to San Antonio Texas for our interview and were approved. He recieved his green card with Temp status good for 2 years in the mail on Friday 7-23-10.

VJ has been a silent blessing in all our travels and without you and this site, we never would have been able to aoccomplish all that was needed to insure that we would have each other for ever. We are in love, we are blessed and forever we are grateful.

Be kind, good luck and I will check in on everyone occasionally, but for now, I think I will prepare for my trip to Europe in 3 weeks and enjoy a well earned vacation. I Love You Guys!! Good luck to all still laying in wait! You are in our prayers!

Hi all, my wife and I filed the AOS paperwork in February, she

had her biometrics taken in late March, and we haven't heard

anything since. Our case was transfered to the CSC. Should we

be worried, or just keep waiting patiently? Thanks,

Steven Mikes

You're not alone. (See our timeline below.) From what we've

been told, the USCIS will not listen seriously to status inquiries

until about the 6-month (180 day) mark. We're right there now

and will be giving USCIS a call in the next day or two. I'll

post the result here.

Thanks for the info, it's reassuring. Guess we have another month until the 180 day mark, so we'll hang on until then.

......dropping in to say hi!

The immigration liason at my Congresswomens office has contacted the interviewing officers supervisor to see why a '30-day decision' has turned into 3 months. It's time to finish this AOS. Ibrahim has his ss card and will start ESL classes next week.

The DMV didnt like a crack in his passport  and wont even entertain the idea of giving him a drivers license..lol. One thing after another. I guess we will try a different facility. It's not like he can just go get a new one.

Hope ya'll are doing good, *waves to Cami and Liz! (F)

Hey all! Just swinging by to say hi!

Absolutely nothing happening on our end right now. Pat is still looking for work and having NO luck at all. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that all his job experience is in Holland and most employers are too lazy to contact references there. We have friends and family looking for us as well so hopefully something will come up soon!

As for his GC....nothing since that last touch on July 10th. The processing time says 4 months as of May 31st but I don't beleive it. We're going to wait until the end of this month and if we still haven't heard anything then we'll call. That way they can't give us ####### about having to wait 6 months.

Anyway...I hope everyone is doing good and wish all my fellow filers that are still waiting lots of luck!

BIIIGGG Texas-size hugs to my girls Jackie and Camie!! ((((HHHHUUUGGG)))!!!

Hugs, Liz

Hi February filers..Its been awhile... we are still waiting to hear from USCIS. I see that we are not alone and its driving me crazy. My hubby status as of 8/3/10 was "On March 9th your case was transfered to CSC for processing" but today it just says "Your case was transfered".
