I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

She's probably stared at it 1000x this week! Hehehe. I'm just glad she has it. The state flags and presidents on the back are cool.

I am happy to hear all these GC approvals and receiving it finally in mail... I envy you all guys... Now I wished I was interviewed and not transferred to CSC. It would have been more easy and less waiting. Now I am trying to set my mind to wait another 6 months just to have my GC approved :crying:

I don't think it'll be another full 6 months.....it's more like 6 months from the time we filed. I think we'll see movement over the next month or two.

Today is Day 140 for us. Stuck in CSC limbo.

What is disappointing is that whether an application is transferred apparently depends on how overloaded one's local field office is, not because of anything relating to the merits/circumstances of an individual application. (It had been rumored that a transfer to CSC indicated that the application would likely sail through without an interview, but from what someone reported recently here there may be less correlation or no correlation at all.) I believe that AOS applications should be handled on a national basis, with every application going into the same queue to await processing in its turn. My wife and I shouldn't be penalized because we happened to reside in Atlanta at the time we filed.

12/31/2009 Married in the U.S. on K-1 visa

01/28/2010 received copy of marriage certificate (what a delay!)

02/01/2010 AOS (I-485/I-765/I-131/I-1145) package sent to USCIS via FedEx (Day 0)

I was looking at the USCIS site yesterday...went to see what the current processing times are...a month ago it said 6 months. NOW it says that as of April 30, 2010 they were working on Dec. 2009. Logically you would think that would mean that by now they would be working on Feb 2010.....I know...logic isn't something they are good at but it sure would be nice!

*dropping in to say hi to all the Feb filiers! Hey liz and cammie!

We are still in AOS limbo~ we had the interview mid April, it did not go well at all, and were told 30 days for a decision. My husband decided to return to his country. I couldn't make him stay, he preferred to leave. So for the last 2 months he has been in Jordan and I'm trying to hold down the homefront.

In this time his EAD card came and collecting dust on a shelf. He is coming home next week and then we will make an infopass appt to see what is happening with AOS. I will be so glad when this is all over. Our lives are on hold.

*dropping in to say hi to all the Feb filiers! Hey liz and cammie!

We are still in AOS limbo~ we had the interview mid April, it did not go well at all, and were told 30 days for a decision. My husband decided to return to his country. I couldn't make him stay, he preferred to leave. So for the last 2 months he has been in Jordan and I'm trying to hold down the homefront.

In this time his EAD card came and collecting dust on a shelf. He is coming home next week and then we will make an infopass appt to see what is happening with AOS. I will be so glad when this is all over. Our lives are on hold.
