I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

I hope the rest of you filers a speedy green card/approval soon as well! And congratulations to those who have theirs.

Finally got my green card in the mail today; and, of course, as the stars would have it, right after getting a stamp at my InfoPass appointment yesterday thinking I wasn't going to get it on time for traveling back to Canada! So glad! :)

I finally received my green card today; almost exactly 1 month after the interview. This seems to be the trend, for those of you still waiting on it. Also, I have a question. I've heard some people say that you should carry the green card on you, I've heard other people say that you should not ( for fear that you loose your purse/wallet etc). I was reading the flyer and the paperwork that came with the card; however, it does not give any advice as to if I should carry it on me or not. Right now, I feel kinda lazy to go digging around the website, so does anybody know what's USCIS suggestion about carrying or not carrying your green card with you.

It is stipulated in the welcome letter that you should carry the green card at all time, it's the law.

Everyone is understandably concerned about loosing it or getting it stolen, it's your choice really but bare in mind the potential consequences.

Edit : it's also said on the letter on which the card was attached : always carry your card in the United States.

You are same with me at San Francisco. Your green card will be get to you on June 16 if my calculation is not wrong. ;) Congrats!

My mummy-in-law hooked me up, she sent all my favorite things from England, chocs and etc., and a beautiful wallet with a £20 note tucked inside (which we converted later at the bank). Hubby got me the first series of Wonder Woman on DVD and a big bouquet of flowers. My mom threw me a dinner, and the family brought out a cake with a great big 35 candle on top. :wacko:

Hi AOS Filers.. I'm in aweeee...

We received our appointment letter in San Antonio TX on 7-13-2010 at 12:30 pm we will go before the AOS officers to determine our fate. I'm pretty confident there will be no concerns.
