Hate to interrupt your thread, but our letter dated May 17th says it will arrive in 3 weeks. Is it different for CSC vs. Interview approvals?

Also, we've only gotten one text/email. Another filer in my thread with the same CSC approval date has had 3 already. There has only been on person on the AOS timelines that was approved after 5/5 and has received their card. What is going on at USCIS?

Some people who are from CSC got their GC within 4~7 days. But now is different situation coz of new redesigned green card launched. I mean for all : CSC approvals and interview approvals.

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

The latest EAD card is white, with several holograms.

Hey Markieboy,

I applied my AOS in March and I live in Seattle too. I just received my EAD today in mail, but my EAD doesn't have my fingerprint on it. And the picture is the one I send it with the application packet.

I am very worried why my EAD is different from everybody else's. Is it a some kind of error, and will I have a problem with it??

I'm not really sure why yours lacks your fingerprint. I can understand the photo. You did the biometrics, right? Hmm, I'm don't have answer for the discrepancy.

Perhaps someone can give a better explanation. I'm sorry I couldn't be more of a help.

Lol. It probably won't take all that long. I was really apprehensive about it at first but now I'm a pro!

We got our Welcome letter today, so that's now two card production notices, a touch yesterday and today a letter. I still don't anticipate John's GC 'til much later, but nice to know it's on its way. B-)

Thanks Markieboy anyway. Since you live in the same area, I just wanted to check if yours had it. I tried to call customer service today but no one was available today. Will try to call on Tuesday.

BTW, Has anyone here got EAD card with no fingerprint?

Congratulations. Isn't it awesome to get a long break from USCIS? Mine arrived about one month too after my interview. I got it yesterday. I didn't see any instructions on returning the EAD card though. What did you do with your EAD? Do we have to destroy it? :unsure:

05 Feb 2010 - Sent AOS package

08 Feb 2010 - Package arrived in the lockbox (confirmed through USPS) - received date

20 Feb 2010 - NOA1 AOS/EAD (hard copies) - notice date for both is 16 Feb 2010

27 Feb 2010 - Biometrics A. Letter Arrived (schedule: March 19)

10 Mar 2010 - Successful Walk-in Biometrics (schedule was: March 19)

10-11 Mar 2010 - two touches on both cases after my walk-in Biometrics
