Same here, Jackie! It's about to drive me nuts not hearing something....ANYTHING!:wacko:

Hello... try to be patient... In my case, they received my package on 02/05, they cashed both checks on 02/11 but my bank only showed the transactions on 02/18. It might be your case too. Good luck.

Attempt at walk-in biometrics in Atlanta (Collier Rd. Application Service Center) failed. We arrived 45 mins. before they opened and were third in line, but when they finally opened at 8 a.m., we were told that walk-ins can only be attempted between 2 pm and 3 pm, and even then there is no guarantee of being fit in. Hope this info us useful to someone in Atlanta in the future. As for us, we're not going to waste more time attempting a walk-in, since my wife's appointment is this Friday.

No walk-ins in Miami (Biscayne office). :-(

Thanks! Mine was paid with a money order so I'm hoping it doesnt take even longer before the tracking shows it's been cashed. Good Luck to you too!!

No problem, I wondered myself for a while :)

When you can track your cases online, there is a column for a "last updated" date. That date gets (supposedly) updated anytime someone at USCIS looks at, or touches your forms. You don't necessarily know why (the case status itself may not update at all), but at least you know that something happened somewhere :D

So a "touch" basically just means that the "last updated" date was updated by USCIS in your case tracking. Not more, not less. Hope that clarifies it.

thx, i was wondering if it's smthing that i'm supposed to get a letter for since u get them for every little thing

I got a RFE for the Medical today for my husband ugh! We sent in the I693 completed by a CS here in the states with the AOS but they are now asking us to "submit a properly completed and signed copy of the medical exam conducted overseas on Form DS 2053 for the applicant." I thought that the consensus was that if you do not have the DS form that the I693 form would be fine in addition to ofcourse the medical presented at the POE. However, they are asking for proof of the medical in addition to the vaccination supplement. I have called the state representative and waiting for a call back to see if they have the medical on the DS form somewhere and I even called the CS to see what type of paper work that they have on him. My DH will call London in the morning to see if they have a copy of the DS form. Do anyone have any suggestions?

Some people said that this happens because some of the people who check the packages are contracted and only look for whats on the list and don't link up your files. They have suggested to make an infopass appointment to get them to check your k1 file for the DS 2053 which should be in your k1 package, it is part of the original medical.
