I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

I am xtremely frustrated and disappointed.I was suppose to have my interview this morning but IO told us they never received our file from chicago lock box and we will have to wait 30 to 90 days for the interview.I m wondering if happened to anyone???

I am very sorry to hear that. Although that is their mistake, you have to wait another 30-90 days? That is very unfortunate....

Hey just a little question for those waiting for EAD and those who have it in their hand.. I've gotten two notifications saying my card was being produced on May 3rd and then on May 11th... normal? weird? what does it mean?

it seems like some of the people that have gotten their notifications around these times have not gotten their card like it usually happens..

If you get the third notification stating they sent your approval, you will get your EAD within 4 days.

08/08 - Arrived on F-1 visa

12/09 - Married

02/04/10 - AOS package sent to Chicago Lockbox by USPS Certified Mail

02/07/10 - Package received

02/12/10 - NOA Notice Date

02/22/10 - Biometrics letter received, appointment date 03/09/10 (Notice date 02/17/10)

02/23/10 - Biometrics done

03/08/10 - Second biometric letter received (retaking fingerprints), appointment date 03/22/10 (Notice date 03/03/10)

03/22/10 - Fingerprints retaken

04/12/10 - Interview letter received, appointment date 05/13/10 (Notice date 04/08/10)

04/23/10 - EAD card production ordered #1 (notified by text)

04/28/10 - EAD card production ordered #2 (notified by text)

04/30/10 - EAD approval notice (notified by text)

05/01/10 - EAD and AP received

05/13/10 - Interview appointment (approved)

05/14/10 - Approval (notified by text)

05/something/10 - "Welcome to the US" letter and I-130 petition approval letter received in the mail

Just had my interview today -- got approved! Simple, didn't ask a lot of questions, although we did come over prepared. For those going in for their interviews -- bring your copy of AOS, originals and anything that you have joint together. Also bring photos! Our officer loved those. And of course, smile, be positive and show that you two love each other... because that's what we did! :)

I can understand that! We never got an email for the April 30th "approval" but we did for the May 12th one so maybe that one is the real deal! I hope you get it soon.... unsure.gif

same here lizandpat... only got email from the 2nd card production notice last May 12. A lot of our plans have been cancelled already because of that long delayed EAD. USCIS is pretty much so disappointing lately... america america..... they said everything is great and systematic in this place... hhmm... let me contemplate on that one again... blush.gif

AOS Timeline

02/11/10 AOS, EAD and AP filed

02/23/10 NOA1 notice date

02/27/10 NOA1 hard copy received

02/26/10 change of address

03/03/10 ASC appt at local office on 03/18/10

03/09/10 Case transferred to CSC notified thru email

03/16/10 Received notice thru email (2nd time) & hard copy that CSC has rcvd application

03/17/10 (one day early as scheduled) Biometrics done

04/28/10 card production ordered for EAD (on document production status) and AP (post-decision act)

04/30/10 touch again for AP (post-decision activity)

05/04/10 received AP in mail

05/11/10 another touch on EAD & email received from USCIS stating card production ordered

05/22/10 EAD in mail... FINALLY!

08/12/10 AOS touch...

09/09/10 AOS touch...

09/10/10 called USCIS and got a service request for AOS application...

09/13/10 email and text notification... AOS APPROVED and card production notice at the same time!!!

09/20/10 received green card and welcome letter in mail.... at last!!!

12/16/13 biometrics done

Grats to the approvals!

I'm honestly starting to think they never produced my EAD after looking at the timelines here. I got no emails and it wasnt touched since 2 days after it was approved. (I thought 4, but I was looking at the wrong one haha)

I may just have to set up an infopass to see what the heck is going on.
