I'm really nervous. Especially since I asked Wes last night to make sure he gest his passport out, and we can't find it anywhere. Theres only one more place we can think of it being, so I will have to goto the storage unit tomorrow to see if it got put in there by accident.

05 Feb 2010 - Sent AOS package

08 Feb 2010 - Package arrived in the lockbox (confirmed through USPS) - received date

20 Feb 2010 - NOA1 AOS/EAD (hard copies) - notice date for both is 16 Feb 2010

27 Feb 2010 - Biometrics A. Letter Arrived (schedule: March 19)

10 Mar 2010 - Successful Walk-in Biometrics (schedule was: March 19)

10-11 Mar 2010 - two touches on both cases after my walk-in Biometrics

26 Mar 2010 - Received the notice in the mail requesting to appear in an interview

15 Apr 2010 - EAD Card production ordered notice received via email

16 Apr 2010 - EAD touched again

21 Apr 2010 - EAD touched (post-decision activity)

22 Apr 2010 - EAD touched

24 Apr 2010 - EAD card in the mail

28 Apr 2010 - Interview date --- approved =) / case touched

11 May 2010 - card production ordered

29 May 2010 - received green card in the mail

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

Crossing my fingers to get my EAD today or soon at least!

I want to start looking for a job.

Hoping that you get it soon! However I would suggest starting to look already, because it'll take a while to find one, and to get through the process. Just tell them your work authorization will be coming in the mail, and give them the estimated date. (Since you're a Feb filer it shouldn't take much longer!)

08/08 - Arrived on F-1 visa

12/09 - Married

02/04/10 - AOS package sent to Chicago Lockbox by USPS Certified Mail

02/07/10 - Package received

02/12/10 - NOA Notice Date

02/22/10 - Biometrics letter received, appointment date 03/09/10 (Notice date 02/17/10)

02/23/10 - Biometrics done

03/08/10 - Second biometric letter received (retaking fingerprints), appointment date 03/22/10 (Notice date 03/03/10)

03/22/10 - Fingerprints retaken

04/12/10 - Interview letter received, appointment date 05/13/10 (Notice date 04/08/10)

04/23/10 - EAD card production ordered #1 (notified by text)

04/28/10 - EAD card production ordered #2 (notified by text)

04/30/10 - EAD approval notice (notified by text)

05/01/10 - EAD and AP received

05/13/10 - Interview appointment (approved)

It's been 2 weeks now since I received my EAD card and I'm still looking for a job! :wacko:

Let me re-phrase that. I've been doing volunteer work as an admin.asst. for 4 months now and it's a great work experience (it looks good also on my resume ;)). What I'm looking for now is a PAYING job.:P

Any updates for Feb filers who got their AOS transferred to CSC?

I am just curious why mine is taking so long... some March filers are getting approvals already... 37 days and a little more than that...

And its the 12th day already since my card production ordered for EAD but I still dont have it in mail...

Getting a little impatient waiting for everything :(

We are in the same situation as you. EAD production was ordered on April 30th but my hubby hasn't gotten it yet. And absolutely NO movement at all on his GC.

24th??? Jeezzz... they have terrible backlogs... i thought its more speedy this year... oh well, we have no choice but to wait! congrats on your approval rhiannercakes... now i am wishing i was scheduled for interview than getting a transfer...

to lizandpat, i see we are on the same timeline... guess we need to stretch more our patience :(
