My EAD arrived yesterday. I look.. different. But at least not hideous like I was fearing.

08/08 - Arrived on F-1 visa

12/09 - Married

02/04/10 - AOS package sent to Chicago Lockbox by USPS Certified Mail

02/07/10 - Package received

02/12/10 - NOA Notice Date

02/22/10 - Biometrics letter received, appointment date 03/09/10 (Notice date 02/17/10)

02/23/10 - Biometrics done

03/08/10 - Second biometric letter received (retaking fingerprints), appointment date 03/22/10 (Notice date 03/03/10)

03/22/10 - Fingerprints retaken

04/12/10 - Interview letter received, appointment date 05/13/10 (Notice date 04/08/10)

04/23/10 - EAD card production ordered #1 (notified by text)

04/28/10 - EAD card production ordered #2 (notified by text)

04/30/10 - EAD approval notice (notified by text)

05/01/10 - EAD and AP received

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

I had interview today and I was approved!! Yeeahhh!!

Very fast... The IO was just talking to us.... Asked where we met, when...

Well... Actually I am H1B visa holder valid until 2012. I was thinking she could ask why I am applying now if I am ok here... job, etc.

But she only asked where I work.. That is it. In the end she said my GC will be in the mail in about 10 days...

One question.... I did not receive any message or email saying that my GC has been produced... Some people got this message right after interview.

Should I have some doubts about my approval??? She already stamped my passport...

Congratulations!

My interview's Wednesday.

And if you have the stamp, do not doubt anything.

The email system is super unreliable.

I didnt get any emails about anything AOS related and my EAD and AP were approved.

Good Monday to all..

I got home, picked up the mail for my wife and for my surprise, her GC arrived.. shocking enough a second letter with the AP and a third letter informing us her GC was approved..

Congratulations to all other approves, updates and changes..

I got my "welcome to america" letter today in the mail :) wonder how long it's gonna take them to get my card out!

Just wanted to thank everybody for support and help, im not gonna be joining u for ROC thread since i got my GC for 10 years (we've been married since 2007) but maybe i'll see some of u for naturalization threads ;)

Thank you all, I am looking forward to hear all February Filers are done with AOS and GC in hands.. hope to meet you guys again for the next step, 1 year 9 month? August 2011??

Wondering how many of the February files are still waiting to hear for AOS interviews.

we have 45 files, 7 interviews in April, 14 CSC Transfers and we have 7 interviews in May.. 28 in total?? Is been and still is a stressful journey and want to continue following until the last person gets the approval.. please keep us inform as I will continue praying for your and your process..

For my AOS approval, I hear nothing till now.:blink: No Welcome letter yet. At least they send it to me but no news.

My I-130 was randomly touched today. No touches on the EAD since March 24th.. My interview is on the 12th.

Do I even need the EAD after I get my green card? I probably wasted the money on that. I'm on a TN visa so I probably didn't need to apply for temporary employment authorization till the green card comes. lol

Ah well.. Just looking forward to it being over with.

Ahhhh. Ok. It's been so long since I filed that I forgot I didn't pay for the EAD. heh.

8 more days! I'll be glad when this is over with.

I see you got your EAD started on the 28th. That'll come in handy for a few days, or something. lol
