Sorry guys/gals....I have to say this....

Please think before you tell those of us that are still waiting to have patience....my patience level is stretched very thin at the moment and having someone say that to me doesn't always sit well.

I'm not trying to be mean .... you ALL know I'm VERY happy for those who've been approved, but I do ask that you be sensitive to those that are still waiting.

Liz, I can totally relate to your frustration...

I remember the frustration I was having during the long period after completing biometrics.. and no movement on anything while fellow filers seem to be moving along fairly quickly. I think the part I hate is "The Unknown". If I knew there was a specific date that this and that was going to be done, I think I'd deal with it better.

Your EAD will get to you on the 9th day start count from your card production ordered day. On May 2nd, right?;)

Hopefully! However, I'll have CPT authorization until mid-June anyway, so I'm not really worried about EAD anymore. I consider it buying peace of mind. :)

No nothing since the last touch on 3/8. I try to not worry about it...but can't help but think that maybe there is some sort of problem. I don't know....and that is most of my problem, like Luckykat said..."The Unknown".

Yep...exactly! I'm considering calling USCIS if we don't hear something by Friday. I'm sure it won't do any good but you never know with them.

I noticed that the cases that were transferred to the CSC seem to be the ones taking the most time. Is it standard for the CSC cases to take longer because these cases are 'usually' approved without an interview?

My husband mentioned that we should call also. We are gonna give them until the end of this month, because I'm sure they are only going to tell us that we are still within the processing time frame....but who knows.

I raised the same question a couple of pages above, but nobody chimed in with an opinion. I do suspect that there is currently a backlog of cases at the CSC. So, I don't know about it being "standard" for transferred cases to take longer, but I agree with your observation that that seems to be true for February filers.

Unfortunately CS at USCIS they are not going to do much than read their very long, but long script. I called them and they told me unless is more than 90 days is nothing they can do at their calling center.. "You are within the normal processing time, please call after 90 business days"
