I am totally confused and is not a matter of patience any more.. I read and read and see people time lines for AP/EAD getting approved, etc, etc.. Makes me wonder if in reality something is wrong with my wife's submission. I am pretty confident no RFEs as I was meticulous enough with the submission [i am not saying I dont make mistakes] but I am very sure nothing is missing.. :(

dont worry you will be fine. Patience is the name of the game.. it is very hard to predict USCIS, when i got my citizenship it took them 2 years,, whereas people around me were getting approved in couple of months...

How strange...

Just got a text saying my EAD was approved and ordered for production on 24th April... bearing in mind my GC has already been approved, 21st April... I just assumed that since my GC had been approved I wouldnt get an EAD.. not complaining hehe, though just thought it was so strange (I had no touches on EAD or AP since 3/1 & 2/22 now EAD has updated but no update on AP, not that i'll need it once GC arrives.)

Thought this was weird. Also the text updates are working for us but not the email updates, even though we signed up for both.. we all know this is a flawed system!!!

USCIS loves to keep us guessing eh?

ImWaiting....we are in the same position you are...not a single word on our filing since the middle of March. I know all we can do is wait but it's hard to just sit here when others before AND after us are getting approved.

dont worry you will be fine. Patience is the name of the game.. it is very hard to predict USCIS, when i got my citizenship it took them 2 years,, whereas people around me were getting approved in couple of months...

Patience is something that some people have for a limited amout of time...lol! I know I'm one of those people...my patience runs out very quickly when I see everyone around me getting an approval and we aren't as well. We went through this same thing with the K1 and I honestly thought I'd go crazy...LOL!

Yay! I'm waiting as well. My EAD was touched for the second time today. Hope it comes in time for my May 3rd job start :P

I am actually worried the picture will turn out really weird as well, cuz I have a history of having bad pics on the first try. The lady doing my biometrics was polite but not particularly friendly, and didn't offer to let me see it.

Your EAD will get to you on the 9th day start count from your card production ordered day. On May 2nd, right?;)

Sorry guys/gals....I have to say this....

Please think before you tell those of us that are still waiting to have patience....my patience level is stretched very thin at the moment and having someone say that to me doesn't always sit well.

I'm not trying to be mean .... you ALL know I'm VERY happy for those who've been approved, but I do ask that you be sensitive to those that are still waiting.

Hugs, Liz

I'm sure you'll see an approval soon, you've been waiting for a long time.

I hope you get something before the end of April :D

Thanks Rhiann....I don't want to make anyone mad but it's just getting so frustrating! Dealing with USCIS is enough to drive people to drink...lol!
