Does anyone have any suggestions as to what else I can get for evidence?

Since it looks grim that I wont get my EAD before next tuesday for my license appointment, I wont be getting onto his bank account or bills.

We have 3 affidavits, wedding cards, my wedding album and a little living arrangements agreement. I can't get on anything financial, which is a kick in the butt in my opinion... anyone one else have any suggestions? :(

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

Just got a text message from USCIS for my EAD card production. For the I 765 ONLY, my case status jumped from "Initial Review" to "Document Production or Oath Ceremony".

This is my new timeline

2/05/10 - Sent AOS package (I485, I130, I 765, I 693, etc etc) to Chicago Lockbox

2/11/10 - Arrived in Chicago (not sure why it took so long, sent it express)

2/18/10 - 3 NOAs

2/23/10 - Biometrics for 03/09/10

03/09/10 - Biometrics completed

03/10/10 - Touches I 485, I 765

04/12/10 - Request for Initial Interview on 05/13/10 at 1:00 pm

04/23/10 - Text message for EAD card production ordered on 04/22/10

Why do you need the EAD to get added as a joint account holder on his bank account or as a joint customer on utility bills? I'm sure the gas/electric/phone company couldn't care less whose name is on the bill. And most banks require nothing more than a Social Security Number and proof of identity (like a passport). I made my wife a joint account holder at my bank and also added her as the beneficiary on my retirement account (IRA). In both cases, all the financial institution requested was her SSN and copy of her passport ID page.

I do concurred with Lorenzoid.

My wife got her SS card a couple of weeks after she got here.. Of course her SS says for work use only.. I added her to my car insurance without any problems [now she has proof of address], added her to my health insurance plan since she is my wife, all they asked was for her SS and marriage certificate..

We have used her SS card, passport [with her single name], marriage license [to proof she is my wife], proof of address from [car insurance] and we open a new joint account with no problems..

Your husband bank's should be the only institution giving you no problems..

EAD card would be used to apply for an SSN card. That or a valid I-94.

IIRC, Rhiannercakes doesn't have an SSN card. Correct? :unsure:

Today, I just got text update and online status saying they mailed approved notice then the stage moved back to post-decision activity. I will get my EAD very soon.

Haha, I went to the CS today to get my transcription done, have to wait on the titre as well. Just incase they ask for it at the interview, cuz I didn't send it in with my AOS package. I think most of the other stuff I'm good on now, though if they give me any trouble I'll be like "look, just ask Cammie, she can tell you I'm in love" :lol:

I have my driving test coming up too, on the 4th....kind of nervous.

I need my EAD to get my license.

Chase REQUIRES a license to get onto my husband's bank account.

My Canadian one expired. I have an SSN, but they want a license, passport and SSN.

You and me both, girl!! It's getting mighty hard to see people who filed after us getting notifications that EAD/AP or AOS has been approved and card production ordered. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for them but it's just so darn frustrating!
