Hi all...back at work today...blegh...lol!

Have a question....We sent our package last Friday (12th) and I included the form to be notified via email but we haven't received anything as of yet. Did anyone else that included that form have to wait for a while to hear from them?

Took 8 days in my case (from the day I mailed packet to the day I got the 3 email)

AOS Phase

January 11, 2010: - Mailed AOS packet (I-485/ I-765/ I-131)

January 13, 2010: - Chicago received AOS packet

January 19, 2010: - Received 3 NOA email

January 20, 2010: - Check cashed[/color]

January 22, 2010: - Received 3 NOA hardcopies in the mail1st touch I-485, I-765 & I-131

February 01, 2010: - Touch - I-765 (EAD)

February 08, 2010: - Touch - I-485

February 08, 2010: - Case moved to CSC

February 13, 2010: - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (After a long wait!)

February 15, 2010: - Touch - I-485 & received e-mail that case is now pending

March 09, 2010: - Biometrics completed, Touch - I-765 (EAD)

March 10, 2010: - Touch - I-485 & Another Touch - I-765 (EAD)

March 17, 2010: - EAD Card Production, Touch - I-131 (AP) & I-1765 (EAD)

March 19, 2010: - Touch - I-485 & Another Touch - I-765 (EAD)

March 19, 2010: - Received AP in mail

March 25, 2010: - Received EAD in mail

April 02,14,15, and 21 2010: - Touch - I-485

April 21, 2010: - Green Card Production ordered!, Welcome letter/NOA April 24

April 29, 2010: - FINALLY!!!! Received Green Card in hand!

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

Ok..phew...i'm sitting here worried that I did something wrong and that's why I haven't heard..lol! I know we'll be a bit delayed because of Monday's holiday too... :(

I sent in the 10th and heard back by email yesterday. You should find out soon.

Now I did use the express/courier address not the PO box. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Yup, still on Initial review saying they sent me a letter letting me know how it will proceed (my NOA). Looks like it was just entered into the system last night or something.

This is NUTS!!!!!!!!!!. we have passed the road test today, but they did not give a license until AOS is complete.

Same in the name change stuff. I am thinking of changing the name on the AOS petition. The green card may be the way out .. not the courts.. maybe i should call them.

EXAMINE WHAT YOU BELIEVE TO BE IMPOSSIBLE, THEN CHANGE YOUR BELIEF !!!

yeah I had the same issue in that they would have given me a drivers license but only if I could have gotten in within the first 30 days after my POE, which I couldn't do because I didn't have my SSN yet, with 60 days or less they wouldnt have issued me a card, so I'm driving on my Canadian one for now. They will let me get my drivers license once I have my EAD though, which is good news at least. From the list on the WI DMV site it looks like you might be able to get the drivers license done once you have your EAD as well.

The have the number wrong but it says if you have a work authorization document that you can use that as proof of status.
