I'm in a bit of what you call a "sticky situation."

I asked my mom to write an Affidavit for my AOS interview about my husband and I's marriage.

To MY PARENTS' knowledge, my husband and I met in March 2006, but we truly met for the first time October 2005 without them knowing.

I don't see the point to telling them now that we're married, but it still concerns me that the officer will look at it and ask why the meeting date is different than the one I wrote on my K-1 "when/how we first met" thing.

I just hope it doesn't go against us... if the person even reads it.

I have found out that once after I turned in my applications. That's why my EAD is delaying. You mean that you have seen one person whose case is same as mine, got EAD ?

I think they changed the time we get mail. It's been this way for a week now. It's 2:30pm and no mail, normally we would have gotten it about 45 minutes ago. How annoying.

Received AP in the mail yesterday (Sat. 04/17/10), which is a good thing since my wife is leaving to visit her parents in Europe on Wednesday. That was too close for comfort.

01/28/2010 received copy of marriage certificate (what a delay!)

I got a text message at the end of last week that my EAD card is in production, so im happy about that :)

A week and a half till interview and forever till my allergies clear :crying:

Congrats to everybody with EAD and AP approvals!

02/03/2010--------sent out AOS package to Chicago (day 1)

02/04/2010--------confirmation of delivery (day 2)

02/11/2010--------checks cashed yay!! (day 9)

02/12/2010--------NOA1 recieved for i-485/i-130 (day 10)

02/24/2010--------NOA1 for i-765 (day 22)

03/11/2010--------biometric appointment done!!!!!! yay!! (day 37)

03/12/2010--------touch on i-485 (that tickles) (day 38)

03/19/2010--------request to appear for initial interview on 04/28/2010 ( day 45)

I really don't know if I should be worried?? no interview letter and no case transfer or any movement of some sort since March 18th?? anyone on the same page as I am?

I thought my case would be pretty straightforward because I've been married for a year now

Well, i think you are not the only one in the same conundrum.. My wife's case has not been active since 2/26 [AP] and since 3/18 [EAD]. Her case was transfer to CSC and never heard back from them.. Naturally, we will worry but is nothing much we can do for now... They are still within the "time frame" sort of speak..

You're not alone. My AOS case was transferred to CSC, but no word from it ever since. My AP hasn't been touched since 02/23 and EAD since 03/04. :angry:

Touched EAD again. What's that? :blink:EAD sent out?

MY EAD was touched the day after the card was ordered for production. We have the same idea. I think they've mailed it on the second day it was touched after being ordered. :unsure:

10 Mar 2010 - Successful Walk-in Biometrics (schedule was: March 19)

10-11 Mar 2010 - two touches on both cases after my walk-in Biometrics
