That crazy place everyone hates where you get your license.

It's always really crowded so people really hate going there... or it is around here anyway!

I tried looking up times to go as well cuz I need to get all my stuff done, first day I can go in for my permit with an appointment is the 4th of May....or I can try to go in without one and pray I dont end up stuck there all day.

My husband suggests you don't go there without an appointment, you'll be there all day.

Last time we drove by there was about 50 people outside waiting to get in.

:( I want to go with an appointment, so I booked the one for May 4th, but I'm really tempted to go try to get in anyway (not like I have anything else to do) because I'm so sick of not being able to drive. I can't register my car without my DL and my tags expired on the 1st, so my poor car is just sitting there.

Hey Everyone!! I've been following the forum quite some time now and just now decided to join. I am kinda worried that I haven't received anything from USCIS since the biometrics appt on March 17th =/ .. only touches on March 18th and that's about it. Should I be worried? My case hasn't been transfered or if it has, they didn't send me an notice.. gulp :help:

That touches are linking your AOS with biometric. If your case has been transferred they will send a notice. Otherwise they are processing normal and you will have interview. In these stages, if they need RFE from you, they will send a notice.

Good Luck on your journey!

That's actually why I'm worried, people that have done biometrics even after I did have gotten their interview notices! :( .. that's awesome you are basically all set! I sure think this will be a huge relief when it is all over

Don't stress out too much about that, it happened with me as well. It really depends on your ASC and how long they are taking to get out interviews.
