What's even more irritating is I have to get my drivers license in my maiden name for now, because the SSN office wont let me change my SSN#'s name.

I'm so close to pulling out hairs over here!

I dont want to have to go and re-do everything in my married name, oh bleh.

I am having the same issues... SO FRUSTRATING!!!! Waited nearly 10 weeks for them to issue me with a SSN (something about USCIS not updating the data for them - they had to wait on varification), it arrived obv still in maiden name, went back in to change it... same problem could be up to 4 weeks again to change my name!!!! (waiting on USCIS updating my name on their system.) Grrrr - also I thought that getting your SSN meant that I could do driving test, so went ahead and did that today, passed, went to get my license at the license office - but no, as my I94 expires 15th April they wont issue it until AOS is approved. so frustrated about it - thought finally i can start living life, apparently not!!

So roll on 20th April for my interview. Still no touches since 03/01.... Come on EAD!

Hm. I have a question.

My husband can get a discount card from work for me since I'm his spouse, do you think I can use this as proof of a bonifide marriage?

Don't feel bad. We've seen no touches since our AOS and EAD first appeared on-line on 3/1 and 3/3, received no-e-mails EVER (despite filing the 1145 form requesting e-mail notification), and AP has never even appeared on-line. As far as we can tell, absolutely nothing has happened since our case was transferred to CSC on 2/23. I'm starting to consider the possibility that our file was lost in the transfer.

Wow...I hope that's not the case...I guess they just haven't gotten to either of our cases but it's still frustrating not to know something!
