I got my EAD in the mail today, exactly 9 days from the day the EAD was ordered for production.

Interview in 4 days.

Congrats your EAD.:thumbs: I am still waiting for my EAD arrival. USPS is working on Sunday or not. I'm not sure. Sunday is the 9th day.

Got our Work Authorization Card Today!! :D

I just received my Green Card :) It was the only letter in the mailbox... from Lee's Summit :D

What a calming experience.

You all know (and most of you are still going through) the many steps and fears along the journey. To finally hold the Green Card in your hands is tremendously rewarding. It doesn't look spectacular (at least not the front - the back does look fancy with a huge silver hologram/chip thing).

I'm so used to the visa struggles that it is hard to believe that it's over for a little less than two years and that I'll finally choose a different line at the airports when they check your status :D (citizens & permanent residents left, everyone else right... !). :D :D

I hope all of you will be successful and soon hold your cards. Best wishes from the bottom of my heart, and we will surely see each other in the I-751/Removal of Conditions thread in 2012 :)

Snivvel & Snivvel's Better Half :)

Congrats

Thanks,

Desmond & Cynthia

Hi everyone!

Yesterday they touched my I-485 and I-130. My interview it is in 1 week.

They did not touch my EAD (I-765). And I don't think I will get before interview...

I am a little afraid... Why do they touch now??? A week before interview?

Does anyone has some clue?

Thank you!

Possibly transferring all of your file to the local center? Or maybe the local center pulling it from their files to get ready for your interview? Dunno, but those are my best guesses.

Good old Cali, next available one near me is a whole month after my original one
