Hello to all February 2010 AOS Filers... I would first like to wish you all much success in this process, and hope we can use this forum to provide support to one another.

My Husband and I mailed our packaged on Jan. 28, 2010...and confirmed delivery Feb. 1, 2010.

Time flies for sure, it has officially been 4 weeks today since we filed the AOS & EAD.

I sent my packet off on saturday and the tracking currently says its ready for pickup in chicago, so I'm just waiting for them to sign for it I guess.... Add me to the list!

We just mailed ours in yesterday. It took a bit longer to get everything together than I thought. Oh well. Onto the waiting. Come on work permit!!! Good luck to all filers!!!

Just sent mine out today, took us forever to put everything together, on to the waiting. I thought it would be such a load off the shoulder to send it out but actually realised that it's only the beginning. I have so little patience with stuff like waiting.

We'll be mailing ours this month. Waiting on the copies of the Marriage Certificate at the moment.

Ok February filers let's try to stay encouraged, this process is very tedious and tiresome. It seems like it took forever to get the package ready to be sent off. But, to have the one's we love, it's all worth it.

I agree with MC&DS and am ready for the work permit, because my husband is going bonkers with not being able to work.

I pray that we all have a smooth and quick approval.

Morning everyone! We will be sending our AOS packet next week....my husband is going today to the CS to get the I-693 completed and then we just need to make our copies and get it in the mail!

I'm so excited to finally be getting this step started...my husband is going bonkers sitting at home as well..hehe!

Quick question for y'all....I was going over our packet last night trying to decide how much "extra" stuff to send. Did any of you include photos, joint account statments, bills with your spouses name on them?

We did not include anything extra in our packet. We plan to show all required evidence at our interview. Here is a list of what we sent:

Cover Sheet

G-1145 (x3 one on each set of documents)

2 Passport Photos (x4 two on each set of documents)

I-485

Copy of my husband's passport

Copy of K-1 Visa

Copy of I-94

Copy of NOA2

Certified Copy of Marriage License

I-864

Copy of Tax Returns for the last 3 years

Copy of all W-2 for the last 3 years

Letter from my employer

I-765

Copy of my husband's National ID Card

I-131

Letter to expedite travel documents

G-325

I-693 (obtained another full medical by CS)

Copy of 3025 from the overseas medical

And of course a check for $1010

Grrr....Looks like we're delayed about 5 days in sending off our packet....the CS is waiting until the lab results come back before he'll give us the paperwork! *sigh* Can't just one thing in this process be easy???
