My wife entered on a K-1 visa and did her first biometric appt and received her Conditional GC without an interview. We are mailing in her I-751 packet next week and I had some questions. Does she have to do another Biometrics appt for her 10 year GC? I have read that a bunch of people have received their 10yr GC without a interview. Does anyone have an idea what or how they determine if you will do an interview?

The only evidence I am able to send in is Taxes, our Joint Lease, Affidavits(notarized from Family and Friends). I do not have anything else due to financial troubles. Is this enough?

Biometrics will be needed , the filing fee for 751 includes the fee for biometrics , interview depends on case to case basis , some get it some dont

Send in as many documents you can

Yes.

No pattern to whether or not interviews are scheduled for ROC - it's not that common, especially when there has been no change in the marital status.

Joint tax-returns and lease are good. Some other/additional ideas might be:

  • Health/home/car/life insurance showing both names or individual names at the same address
  • Memberships (any kind) showing joint names or individual names at the same address.

Yes, she will have to go for a biometrics appointment again. Just to give you heads up, you will have to go for another biometrics appointment when (if) you apply for naturalization.

Regarding your other questions, the financial evidence does not need to be as in the AOS where you need to show that you are able to support your spouse. This evidence is merely to show that you are still married and to prove that your marriage is entered in good faith. What you mentioned is very good, but they usually like to see more. here are some additional suggestions:

1. Bank Statements showing both names.

2. health Insurance

3. Car Insurance

4. 401K plans showing beneficiaries

5. Life insurance

6. If you have been on trip together, provide pictures or airplane itineraries showing you both have been on the trip together.

7. Credit card statements

8. Store cards

9. Memberships

As for the interview, most people will not go for an interview based on sufficient evidence. Some people do get called for an interview, but it happens once in a blue moon.

A final comment - make sure you send photocopies of all except for the affidavits, the need to be originals.

In addition, make sure you send in all pages of your tax returns and a copy of your W-2s. Don't send only the first page of your tax returns.

I don't have most of these documents because I was laid off some time ago and have been working an under the table construction job, and my wife is a student. And just to clarify before I get any questons about it I am a U.S. born citizen and the only job I could get lately is the construction job. So I don't have any of those things and my car insurance is just in my name. And we don't have any credit cards. Anybody have any ideas on additional evidence I could show.

1. Photos together, with family and friends, or at your home... did you travel anywhere together at all? If yes, photos form such trips +itineraries.

2. Don't you have a 401(k)? Even if it is not currently active, you probably have one! So make her a beneficiary. Don't you have a checking account? Even if it's in the red, add her name to it.

3. She's a student - doesn't she have you as emergency contact on some paperwork from her school?

4. Post cards in both of your names, any mail or packages that goes to your joint address.
