I received the notice by text and email on 5/18/2010 that the petition was approved and we could expect the green card in 30-60 days. Also two days later we got the letter in the mail stating the same thing.

I received another text and email this morning stating this and was just curious what (if anything) it means :

The worst part of it is when I received the 3:30am text message, I saw the statement that the online status has been changed... my brain booted up so quickly because the first thought that came to mind was "Oh #######... did they changed their minds????!!!" so I had to get up, check my email and go on their website... not to notice the difference at first... and wondering if all this is a dream...

However, here are the statistics.... probably, out of 8 people, one person (like yourself) receives 8 messages and 7 others receive nothing... averaging 1 per person... and the outcome that all are upset! :lol:

At least this stage is behind you now....

i dont know why they scheduled me so early but i heared that the cases who are really clear got scheduled in the morning

...does somebody know anything about that??

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your interview... however, look at the bright side - you get to tell them the circumstances about your case - and I am sure they are very well observant for details and as long as you didn't obtain your GC just for immigration purposes only, then you won't have to worry about it.

As for the time of the interview, it is not necessary that early interviews are already approved... but at least you might be the first on that IO's list which means you get them while they are still happy and awake... and not after dealing with so many issues throughout the day....

Stay hopeful - many waiver interviews were successful and approved....

Go over the application you mailed in, and remind yourself of dates, events, and anything that relates to your previous relationship as well as reasons for your waiver.

I am sure you will be fine....
