I had my biometrics Friday and have not received an email from USCIS. When I go to check my case status it says "Last updated 03/15/2010" so I guess that'll have to do.

That's great to hear! I didn't get an email either, I just checked my case status too. :thumbs:

A touch this morning too.

When the fingers were being scanned; some scanned at 60%, some at 55% and others at 70%.

Does it matter as long as the technician thinks its alright?

One thing you can do is to call the FBI and have them check on your status and see if your biometrics were OK or not... Someone posted a comment about doing this and they were able to verify their bios....

From what the technician told me the percentage is not important, I had between 50-55 on the mine. The important thing is that you can see the lines. Apparently I have really difficult fingers, pink and with very fine skin. When he saw my fingers he took me to the best scanner they had and it still took 20 mins and about 5 attempts per finger before he was done with me. Poor man....

So finally i got my bio. appointment yesterday. yeyyyyyyyy it is scheduled for March 31. They send me letter the day after i called them, so for people who been waiting for their appointment notice more than a month, i recommend calling:), they speed up their proccess for ya. At my local office there isn't walk-in, but i would love to get my fingerprinting done earlier since i really wonna buy my ticket to go visit my family as soon as i can; I didn't see any number to call for rescheduling in my appointment notice letter, any advice on how to handle this situation? Thank you in advance.

Tunisia,

I had my bio yesterday and one of the first things you had to do was showing the inside of your hands. I do office work so no problem for me, but I imagine there are people who use there hands a little more then I do. I was one of the first onces in line so I don't know if they actually send people back when they have scratches on the inside of their hands/fingers, but you might look for some gloves for your husband

Update on my case. Was scheduled for bio. March 31st, did walk-in today, and got it done. So early bio. date is today, March 17th.
