I'm done, I'm seriously thinking about a divorce, just to let you know.

It's not that I don't love him, I just don't feel myself, I'm stuck. I try to be there for him but there's always an issue and he's not talking to me. I try not to be a burden and handle everything myself but it's still a new country for me, I've never been to the States before, he's no help. I know he wants all the best for me but about that he forgets our relationship. I tried to bring the romance back in our life but somehow that had no effect, he thinks video games are way better than having dinner with me

I don't know, he loves me and would do everything for me, but still I don't get any support in finding a job or other simple things. I don't know what to do. I'm sorry

Cheeto. (L) I'll say a prayer for you and DH. The problem with most men is that they don't get it until they get to be a certain age and by that time it's too late. Time is the most precious commodity we have and the judicious spending of it is of paramount importance. Play silly video games or spend time with the love of your life, it seems like a no-brainer to me. I hope DH smartens up, you're too nice a person to be treated like this. (F)(L)

Thanks IR5, I'll try talking with him.

Lunch, well, I had a late breakfast. I think it's time for a nap, Pudge is sleepy too after I chased him around the house and garden.

Sir 5, what have I done to deserve this honor?

you write poems.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

^5 has given you some great advice.

When I first married my husband, I too felt something similar. I was a fresh college grad and unemployed and my husband was working fulltime. I would spend my day cleaning the house, cooking meals, and bored out of my mind without any human contact. I would look forward to my husband coming home every evening because then I'd finally have someone to talk to... However, my husband would come home, eat dinner, and go off to unwind by playing video games. I was lonely during the day, frustrated about not finding a job, filled with self-doubt after every interview, and expected my husband to act like a "loving supportive husband". I too remember once thinking that my husband is emotionally unavailable and that the marriage was not going to work.

Then one day it hit me.. ALL MEN ARE DENSE.. As Cinco said, most men just dont get it till they get to be a certain stage. So it wasnt that my husband was not being supportive, he just didnt know how & when to be supportive. So I had to explicitly tell him, "I need a hug", or "lets spend some time together", etc.

I really hope you can work things out with your husband. (F)

I'm going to have a salad with boiled eggs on it. Yum.

I do have to say that the supervisor of elections for our county sucks. I applied to vote on Jan. 20 and still hadn't received anything so I called and the lady told me that whoever entered my information put my 5 year old Washington address as my mailing address!!!!

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!
