Im going to the nail salon and hit a few stores today...I will look in those places and see what I can come up with.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

well, i just put the dishes in the washer. being by myself, it takes me awhile to dirty enough dishes to run the dishwasher, and i detest doing it by hand  maybe i will eat on paper plates, and use plastic ware until he gets here  now i just have to wipe down the sink and counters. will most likely do a load of laundry today, and the other on monday. i do not want to do anything on tuesday that he arrives, but sit back, relax, and enjoy my last few hours of freedom  i must admit, it is nice to have a clean apartment.

you have any plans to cook some things and freeze if for later so you can relax?

I went in Target recently and couldn't believe the supermarket they have in there!

I like that place better than my normal one

the only problem with that is I am going to spend 2 or 3x as much money in there having that option

I like Walmart for somethings and is pretty cheap overall without sales

but Target is one of my favorites

morning commies

:secret: I haz 10 boxes of those delicious girl scout thin mints

mmmmmmmmmmm

I haven't seen them lingering around anymore

my weakness....SAMOAS

Good morning everyone! Getting a late start this morning, my MIL lent me a bunch of Janet Evanovich books, so my productivity and online time have both decreased drastically the last couple of days. :P

Yay K! Only six more days! I have to admit, when I read your first post this morning, I was like, huh? Who is 6? I know who 5 is, do we have a new member? :bonk: Apparently it is still too early in the morning for me and I need more sleep!

Is it OK if I vent a bit in here? I am a lot more comfortable with all of you, rather than the vent thread in the Canada forum.

So, everything is at NVC, getting together all the paperwork, which we had done back in August/September/October for the lawyer (don't get me started on that, why in hell they did not just send me a complete checklist in August still burns my butt). I stressed to hubby that we had to have original docs, and yes, we did need 2008/2007/2006 tax returns, so he'd better get 2007 fixed up (I don't get how you can file 2008 and not 2007, has something to do with his exwife and I don't understand). It was my understanding that ALL OF THIS WAS TAKEN CARE OF. So now, I have to actually drop off the originals with the lawyer a second time (she gave them all back to him after filing the I-130 because they don't like keeping originals in their files, understandably). Guess what? He never did get original copies of his divorce decrees (2, and he doesn't know what county his first divorce was in AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH), and he never did do his 2007 taxes. WHAT? We have had FOUR months to get all this together - IF I KNEW WE HAD TO. FRICK FRICK FRICK. I love him to death, but I am so ticked about this. And my time here is running short, dammit.

But I eat the same thing...darn it. He's so sweet, but he does not understand that this stuff has to be done. He thinks we should be able to get immigration without it. It's HIS fricking gov't! He should know better.

OK, rant over. I am simply going to send him an email this morning (he's not on chat) detailing exactly what he needs to get, and where he needs to get it. Except the first divorce decree. How come men never keep any important paperwork, but still have ####### paperwork from 10 years ago that was never necessary? Sigh.

OK, really this time, rant is over. I love him I love him I love him. And I know he is this way, so it is my own fault for not checking up on it.

I totally understand Val. My husband is lucky he remembers his wallet. He goes to school on Saturdays, so I make him a sandwich and stuff and pack him a lunch. This week he forgot it and he forgot his cash, left it in his other pants. Luckily he had his ATM card (which he didn't even think of, I had to tell him to take out money with his debit card and buy lunch).

As for paperwork, all of his was in a plastic bag all mixed up. I organized it for him and did everything with him while I was in Peru otherwise it would never have gotten done.... menz... sheesh!

Awwwwww.

 None. I got a bag of everything bagels and cream cheese waiting for me.
