I ordered some from the little girl down the block. My mom is friends with her mom and she hangs out with the boys. I'm just waiting for them to arrive.

doesn't matter ... for me it's a personal choice ...

my 92 year old grandmother won't see my children again ... yet Isa is planning to go back to Brazil yet again ... she thinks that cause my family doesn't call 3 x a day (like hers)... my family doesn't care.

That's not fair, Natty :( I'm so sorry.

I don't think it should be about your family or her family anyway, it should be about YOU. If you want to take the kids to see granny, then you should be able to, because you're their dad and that's that.

And my experience with kids is that after 15 minutes in a car, they are asleep for the duration anyways...car trips can be a good thing, with rest stops every couple of hours.
