No, 5. He is actually very timid for a GSD ( German Shepherd Dog ) He came from a breeder who neglected him and stuck him in a filthy pen for the first 14 months of his little life. He had no other human contact, let alone proper nutrition, or even walked on grass until I rescued him from certain death.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Well, that breeder is a late 60 or 70 something old man who should not be breeding when he cannot take care of his dogs. That was evident, although he has some excellent stock. Don't know why he kept my snapper ( snapper's name is 0toka, which is Lakota for ' Beginnings' ) because he could not be used as breeding stock for the simple reason 0toka was born without testicles. He did not sell him as a pet, either. He just kept him and I strongly suspect 0toka was abused. Im thinking the man resented the dog. A friend of my neighbour across the street knows this breeder and she has been telling him for a long time now that he has too many dogs. My other Shepherd had just passed away in late August, so that is how I got the hook up to adopt 0toka. The stipulation was, if I could get a collar on him, he's mine. Two hours in the filthy pen, singing Beatle songs, I was able to slip that collar on him and walk him out of that pen into freedom.

0n another note...Amby is requesting prayer for her grandfather. Tomorrow he will have heart surgery and he isnt exactly in the best of shape. Agree in faith with me, prayer warriors!
