I should have a bigger house...but that would require more cleaning and higher heat bills.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Awesome! Houston is great, housing is pretty cheap here. Of course, inside the loop is still way more expensive than outside... <_<

There is this one loft that we saw which was gorgeous... They had a wine tasting room with free wine pairing classes, cooking classes, 2 gyms, free yoga, pilates and spin classes, poker room, pool & shuffle board room, concierge trash services, "yappy hour" for pet owners, etc... of course the rent was quite high.

houston ... pfffffffffffttttttt

it's flat ... gotta drive on an overpass to get any elevation ... where underpasses have depth gauges posted on the side of the road ... and if you want to do anything besides shop and sit in traffic ... gotta drive for hours ....

True about that... But I love how Houston is so multicultural.

You people from Houston have GOT to stop complaining about the traffic here. Hubby does it all the time, and yet it is NOTHING. Vehicles are still moving, it isn't a complete parking lot. Toronto is horrendous, and I hear LA is even worse.

it is multi-cultural ...

and that's not even counting the cockroaches that you can put saddles on and ride to Austin ....

it's a working town ... there are jobs ... drive home (and to work) ... drive to shop ... drive to eat out (tons of restaurants) ... drive to sit on 290/10/610/8/59/ etc ... etc ... and if you want to actually do something outside ... you can always play in the middle of the freeway cause otherwise you're driving quite a distance to pay to do something outside.

Here, there is danger involved....especially within Detroit city limits. Seems people drive any which way they choose. I can always tell a suburbanite from a D-dweller simply how they are driving..in most cases.
