besides, a few paycheck stubs and photocopies of W-2's and a letter from my employer?

past few years tax return receipts [if they help establish a solid financial background]

Make sure the letter from your employer is detailed and has very specific wording.

I know everyplace is a little different so I can only tell of our case. We were Vietnam K-1.

I sent a Cover Letter with the I-134 that listed the following:

1) Past two years tax returns (07 & 08) with schedules attached and w2's. (I didnt do transcripts - just copied my returns that I had on file from online filing)

2) Letter of Employment, stating my salary, length of employment (start date to present), position, status (full time). (My employer also included a comment that I am a valued member of the company - I thought it was a nice touch)

3) most recent 6 months bank statements

4) most recent 6 months pay stubs

5) and of course the I-134

I had the cover sheet with my signature notarized with a statement that I certify that all documents included are true and correct.

We had no problems or issues with what we submitted.

Hope this helps!

Hello, Jon & Lita

I posted the review of the interview on the Consulate review section. :P

As a matter of difficult, I don't think it's difficult, but it's not easy either.

My fiancee's interview was about 10minutes long, but the person before her was like about 30-40minutes.

And that person came out with list of docs that she still has to provide.

So, I guess it really depends on whether you have full documentation or not.

They didn't ask for more evidence of relationship , maybe because we front loaded our I-129 package.

So, prepare your fiance(e) with the sample interview questions that VJ has.

My fiancee found it helpful. :)

As for bank letter, I got my bank letter from Chase, it pretty much states the opening date of the account, the average balance, the current balance.

Good luck with the interview :)
