So based on that...the interview might not actually happen until late August? Mid-late July at the best?

Well, let's say you got the NOA2 today. Then you have to get through NVC, allow 2 weeks to a month for that - I assume you have everything filled out, have all your documents ready to send out as soon as you see the NOA2.

So that would be February.

The fastest interviews coming out of Montreal right now are 3 months after completion at NVC - so it could be May - June?

Probably, depending on if Montreal keeps up their pace, it might be quicker.

Depends on which consulate you are interviewing at. Vancouver is usually faster but its hard to tell with Montreal. They have been painfully slow but they seem to have just about gotten caught up now. Possibly when your time comes it may be alot faster.

CSC is still on the Sept ones; they slowed down to a crawl in Oct and have been catching up since the end of the holidays. This is a CR1, so as I understand it, the interview can only be in Montreal; I think Vancouver only does K1s.

I am hoping mine is complete at CSC soon (I filed at the beginning of October), but since Montreal seems to be scheduling April interviews for K1s now, I am guessing the best I can hope for is a May interview (if it takes less than a month to go through NVC). Yours may be July or later, depending on how long it takes CSC to catch up.

But you may be one of the lucky ones that gets approved out of sequence at CSC. Who knows?

It says 5 months. Looks like you still have a bit to wait.

Your timeline does say beginning of April, not too far away.

I was trying to do that, but some of them seem to be very similar circumstances to mine, but they got their NOA2 in a like a month. Others seem to be very similar to my case but are at the 5 month mark with no word.

When it says 5 months and gives an estimate, is that typically somewhat accurate then? I have been lead to believe that the 5 months they project is a fairly meaningless number and it's often a fraction of that time.
