Well.. I could not hold myself and called DOS, and got same response, she even told me exactly what embassy sent to my fiancé in his email.

I decided to go with the Nahda office in Jordan, and now they are handling communication with Embassy, cause I believe my emails are going to the junk folder, or they set a rule in outlook where it get deleted automatically.

I really just need a date.. I was told by the Nahda office that queue now is about end of March or 1st week of April.

I pray for results for you, I and others this week..

Thank you, I hope sooo toooo!

I have a friend that used the Nahda office several years ago...and they really helped her a lot and she really believes in them.

I was hoping that I would atleast hear that we were under consulate final review, but no such luck!

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........

Congrats and happy anniversary!

I have heard from Ash and there is really good news there. Congrats to them! :star:

I'll probably never hear from Annie again and that may remain a mystery to me why. One can only speculate.

Lets see so far I've gone to the store and got the greens, called DOS, in the middle of laundry, still need to clean the upstairs bathroom, and finish the dishes. I did apply for some jobs at the local TV stations that opened up so cross your fingers I hear something back from them. I also inquired today about another job where I saw a help wanted sign but they were looking for a professional cosmetologist at the beauty supply store.

Happy Monday to everyone. Today is the final countdown for Ahmed he will have his completion papers in less then 30 days. Finally its almost over. They came to the camp and took his military ID and gave him some gifts of appreciation, towles, sheets and a blanket and an extra 100LE woohoo he's rolling now. Either way it's been a long 2 years and now comming to an end. He will get his papers the day he finishes and take them to the same lady that we went to in December to translate his other stuff, then renew his passport and send the completion paper and a copy of the passport. Im glad it only takes a few days to do there passports there. If were lucky we could get a april interview and Im definately attending. Then I can sit here and wait in AP with the rest of those here and go nutzO'

Congrats Sandra that he's finally being released from the Egyptian military! You have waited a long time but you are so lucky to be able to go see him so much. On planning to attend the interview with him as well. Here is hoping that you have a quick AP!

Congrats Sandra--one more thing checked-off the check-list. :content:

Betta-Hold on! Keep asking questions! :star:

Me-I came down from my high from 2 weeks ago when they asked for his passport. How silly and naive I was to think that things were going to go smoothly and quickly and he would have his visa now. We are still waiting. Haven't heard one thing. This is SOOOOOOOO freaking depressing. I can't get excited about anything because I do not want to fall on my face again. It hurts. :(

Still watching the clock... :crying:

You're on Annie's friend list on FB why don't you send her a message or post - why ask on VJ?!?!

I'll probably never hear from Annie again and that may remain a mystery to me why. One can only speculate.

Really Olivia? A mystery to you when you're the one that deleted her because she use to be an active member on that "evil" site that you no longer participated in and you didn't like it anymore?

Annie got fed up with a bunch of people on here. Yes you all can go back and tell Annie what i've typed on here...she's well aware.:hehe:
