Non Uk Citizen k1 interview in London

Hi all

I am an irish citizen doing my k1 interview in London embassy. I have read about additional processing after the interview on here for foreign citizens is that the case for all nationalities as Ireland is a very close neighbour to the uk?

Any input appreciated.

If your NI / IR born you should be fine.

The additional processing you have read about has, for the most part, been taken on cases where the applicant has come to the UK on a visa from another country and is not UK born but is a resident.

That said, AP does and can happen to anyone, and anyone going through this process should be prepared for any and all delays that the embassy can throw at you.

Good luck with your interview. I am sure everything will go smoothly as long as you have all of your paperwork in order.
