Forget staying within the United States; as long as you're married, you can even LEAVE the United States.

The fiancee visa is void if you leave the US before you get married.

So, yeah, take your honeymoon to Vegas, but beware: All the strippers and prostitutes there might challenge the man's faithfulness.

!!WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!!

OP do not listen to the above.

You can travel WITHIN the US but you cannot LEAVE the US until you have the AP (advanced parole) document, which you apply for at the same time as AOS. Or when you have your greencard.

If you LEAVE the US before you have the AP or GC you WILL NOT be able to return until you get another visa, and you will need to REAPPLY as a spouse (CR1 or K3 but CR1 is better)

Go and honeymoon in Las Vegas but try and apply for AOS before your I-94 expires. While you can wait until after it expires, you are out of status and travelling is a bit more risky as you run the risk of running into ICE (immigration and customs enforcement) who MIGHT lock you up until you pay a bond, and then legal fees etc etc. You are in the US legally but are "out of status" once the I-94 expires. It's not a good feeling.. trust me :P

**Also - your K1 visa expiration date is now irrelevant. You have 90 days from the date of your entry into the US (March 10, 2010 in your case) to get married. The K1 visa is void as soon as you enter on it. it's a "one time only" visa.

You're OK to travel within the borders of the US. You'll need to provide your passport at the airports if you fly, and carry a certified copy of your marriage certificate with you to be on the safe side. Just be sure not to get very close to the Mexican border. Enjoy!

But leaving the US with the hope of returning will need to wait at least 90 days after you apply for your AOS, if you also apply at the same time for AP (it's free). The AP allows you to return to the US after leaving its borders.
