What are the legal implications of the 134f for a co-sponsor? I've talked to my dad about doing but he has various concerns about this. He's worried that something might happen (such as an illness, car accident etc) and he'll be held financially responsible, and in a sense be screwed financially because I'm a college student and won't be able to contribute much.

Can anyone tell me what exactly the implications are? How long is he responsible for? What exactly could he be held financially responsible for? And does anyone know some good websites where I can find more information on the subject?

It's a one in a million chance that something like this would happen and not be covered by insurance but it's really making my dad worried. Please help...please...

Never heard of an I-134F but the I-134 is not legally binding, regardless of how binding it looks. Just google I-134 not binding. This is only a temporary answer though because some qualified sponsor is going to complete an I-864 to get the green card and it IS binding. Just read the I-864 instructions and the sponsor's contract in the affidavit itself.
