Cost or Fee for final I-130 Interview?

After a unbelievable 12 year wait for my sister who filed October 1998 she FINALLY is going to her interview March 2010.

Anyone ever here of such a long wait?

She will pay $275.00 for the medical prior to the interview.

But is there also fee or cost for her final interview at the US consulate in Montreal Canada?

Simultaneously I'm applying for a K1 visa for my fiance and I know there is a charge for that interview so I'm a little confused!

Your sister won't have to make an additional payment at the embassy since you've already paid all visa related fees to the NVC. A K1 is different since the NVC does not process these type of visas so the embassy handles all fees.

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
