CONGRATS! :dance::dance::dance::dance: CONGRATS!

Mr. Bruce got approved in London today as well (Its in the UK regional thread).

It's been a helluva week for London - way to go!

:star: Joey

Man, the scotland #21 was probably Mr. Bruce LOL!

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!

Ok well here goes my interview update. I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone on VJ this place is so special in that its one of the hardest things being away from the one you love most but some how we all manage to remain up beat even when things look so bleak by supporting each other!

So my interview was for 11am today i set off from my desk in Blackfriars London at 10am to get the tube over to Bond St.

As i arrived the queues were already quite big as it was 10:35am one was bigger the other alot smaller and i though i was lucky as i was put in the small line. Infact my first judgement was so far from the truth, they let the larger line in first and no one from the small one!!!!! once the larger line had moved we then got moved over.

So as i go through the detectors i empty my pockets ipod phone etc but i kept a packet of Cherry drop sweets in my pocket ( i know a real kid at heart) as i went to put them back in my jacket i drop them on the floor and because its like a small hut it mad the loudest bag and the security guard ducked!!!!!! then a police man came over to make sure everything was ok!"!!! :P It was very funny my cherry drops nearly got me killed!!

So off to the waiting room i had number 22 and looked as if i was the last immigrant visa on the large screens that are put up to show who is next and which interview booth to go to.

I waited about one hour to be spoken to and i was getting very hot and nervous trying to think if i had forgotten anything. I went to booth 14 were i spoke to a very nice gentleman who took my hand prints, police record, birth certificate, passport and affidate of support also he asked me when i was planning to get married. He was very talkative and was joking with me which put me at ease.

I was then given a pink form as to where i wanted the visa delivered to which i had to fill in and wait to be spoken to again.

I waited about 30 mins and then went to booth number 15 where i was greeted by a lovely american lady who once again was really nice, made me feel relaxed. I had to swear i would tell the truth etc and then the next set of question started.

How did we meet?

Where did we get engaged?

When do we plan to get married?

She took my thumb prints and then checked the computer as she said " to see if i had been a good boy!!"

Made me laugh and she said everything was ok to go ahead, then popped over a guy from scotland to collect his evidence he left on the counter before me! who i now think is mr and mrs bruce!!! He looked super happy and congratulations to him today.

So after this she said just to let you know i am glad to approve your visa request good luck.

I thanked her and off i went to pay my visa transport fee.

NOTE its now £13.50 not £9.50 some people did not have the money on them one guy on a non immigrant visa did not have it on him he only had £10 i gave him the £3.50 as a gift as i felt sorry for him as we all had been there so long. That was my good deed for the day.

Anyway there we go easy just make sure your organised and have everything at hand.

Thanks once again to everyone!!
