Thx guys!

Nizzy - you are absolutely right (and are going to make a fab counselor, I have to say!). I think some of the reason I was feeling a bit emotional was that it was 4 am and I was exhausted too.

Your welcome. And thanks for the compliment. I was just feeling like pulling my hair out because of papers and projects and to hear that really means a lot to me.

I went with my cousin to her ultrasound yesterday and she is having a girl!!!!! The little princess wouldn't uncross her legs so it took a while before they could get her to show us her lady parts! haha This is going to be the first girl in our family in a long time so we are so excited!

Adi stood on his high chair and climbed on to the couch from there today and he just figured out how to unlock cabinets and open doors to rooms even with baby proofing. He is keeping me on my toes all the time. Also does not want to eat because of teething. We are back to formula and cereals for now. Will not touch anything else. Any suggestions please?

How many months old is he?

I used to give the boys chilled fruit from the fridge when they were teething. They LOVED it because it was soothing on their teeth. Another thing is I used to make little baby sized ice pops out of fruit and fruit juice and they would rub it all over their gums  .

If he's eating cereal you can try slipping in some pureed fruits as well. Good luck!

@autum: aww, that hasn't happened to us (yet) but I think it is coming. Ben is really getting attached to his daddy- they take showers together and fix things, you know all the guy stuff and when he is at work all Ben talks about is his daddy. Or when I say no- he cries for daddy. lol. I think I would be a little hurt too, but just keep in mind that it doesn't mean that he doesn't love you any less. I think it is great that Declan is so close to both mommy AND daddy! I actually wish Ben would let my husband put him back to sleep at night, so I can get some rest. :P

@Nizzy: congrats to the girl-to-be, I'm sure she'll be spoiled rotten as the only girl in the family!

@Parul: how old is your son now? I wouldn't worry too much if he is back on formula and cereal as long as he eats. Are you sure its from teething? As for his curiosity, I don't have any advice... Ben has a huge interest in taking batteries out of our alarm clocks/remote controls/computer mouse/his toys, it's driving us crazy I just try to keep him busy and and have an eye on him most of the time. If he is standing up in his chair, can you strap him in? Most high chairs have straps for safety.

Thanks Susita. I will try chilled fruit. Adi is 1 week short of 11 months. He just wants to play with whatever we eat and not even touch his food. He even wanted the popsicle from Daniel. Just gave him some toast and he ate it. I guess anything crunchy is fine as it scratches his gums. He will not try anything pureed

Thanks chnst. I do strap him in the high chair and this was the only time I removed the belt and went to the kitchen only 6 feet away. He did it in a matter of 2 minutes. I am not too concerned about his curiosity just gets me really exhausted. He's def. teething, 3 teeth at once too. I hope it passes soon so I can get some rest.

Stef, Zaid is obsessed with batteries too! His favorite thing right now is the "slash-light" the flashlight lol. He has about 4 of them and he turns them on and plays inspector. lol. He will shine the light under the couch and in closets and pretend to find the "dinosaurs" which btw he is terrified of!

omg how cute! Eman can't pronounce the letter "r". It sounds like "w". Like when he says "wain" for "rain" and "fwoggy" for "froggy".
