@ Autumn: sometimes it's worth driving down to Boston or NYC, their craigslist is flooded with stuff. Maybe make a trip out of it? Otherwise, we will buy a sandbox too, and we wanted wood, a canopy and a tarp. I found a nice one on Ebay, but with shipping it is still $180. That is way cheaper though than the one I first wanted from Pottery Barn Kids.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310174856366&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=%3F*F%3F&GUID=1286a3291270a0e201d53f15fdd9a010&itemid=310174856366&ff4=263602_263622

We will keep it for a long time, so it is worth the investment and will be fun for Jona's siblings too. A canopy is important so they don't get sunburned (our summers are short, but hot here) and a tarp cause a sandbox is just a huge invitation to our cats and all the other neighborhood cats... Our previous house owners put up a little tikes splash center as sandbox which got pooped in all the time, but duh, it's a huge litterbox!!! We emptied the sand out, cleaned the thing well with Clorox and will actually use it as kiddie pool as intended.

@ Twila: I hope the twins are better. Nothing worse than sick kids, it just breaks your heart.

Congrats Sofia!

On our front, it's been a vomit-free day so far. So...that is good. Both still have horrible sinus issues. Hana looks like heck -- red eyes, nose. Zak just has a runny nose. They both are crying on the drop of a dime however. So...on the upswing. Daddy said he may stay home with them tomorrow.

Twila ~ I hope Hana & Zak get better soon!!

Vi ~ Congratulations to Sofi, soon she will be running & have you chasing after her

Staashi ~ best wishes for Enzo's baptism :)

So breastfeeding is going really well but I think I might have A LOT of milk, like too much. When Anna eats she gulps and gulps and I have to take her off and burp her a lot. Is there such thing as making too much milk? I leak all over the place too.

@Susita: Yes there is or actually you might just have a forceful letdown and since Anna is so little she just can't take it all. If she spits out a lot while feeding just stuff a burb rag under her head so the milk runs in there. It'll get better as she gets older and can swallow more at a time. Keep doing, what you're doing, I think it's better to have too much milk than too little.

That's good to know thanks :)

I already stuff a burp rag under her head and I sit her up a lot while breastfeeding so she doesn't choke, because that happens sometimes too. If I don't, she eats too fast too and it causes all kinds of gas problems.

Tomorrow is kindergarten registration for the boys :o They are getting so big I can't believe it.

@ Susita: Same here. When Jona was that young, I latched him on, once the let-down came I took him off and let the stream of milk run into a burp rag. It literally sprayed a couple feet wide. Then he'd return to nursing... And over time, it adjusts. Better too much than too little.

Susita, your body is actually making milk for your new baby and the twins. It's like your body sees there's a new baby, but it "remembers" the other two so it produces more.

Happy Birthday, Zaid!!!
