No i didnt defriend you! lol i deleted it so I could stay off the damn net and get my school work done. So far so good! Zaid does the same thing during his night tremors but he is always saying "No bite no bite" or "Its stuck" lol

I too am excited for Easter. Even tho we dont celebrate the religous end of it, Zaid has LOVED seeing all the Easter "Munnies" (lol) the past few weeks! Im going basket shopping tomorrow for Zaids basket and my goddaughters. I think I will get some sidewalk chalk, coloring books, and bubbles. We dont give Zaid candy but MAAAYYYBE i might slip some Gerber fruit snacks in there.

Ive really been trying to get Zaid to listen to alot of music (which btw he has NEVER been interested in) and he LOVES to sing twinkle twinkle little star. I could just squeeze him when he tries and sings it because it comes out like this;

sinkle sinkle binkle tar

how i sinkle sinkle aw

up up bove da girl so high

yike a (insert some random words here) sky

its soo cute. Ive been trying to get him on video doing it but anytime he sees my flash on my phone turn on he thinks its a flashlight and wants to play with it.

Kelly: lol, thats so cute!!! Ben sings a lot and he makes up his own words too. haha. Or sometimes he sings songs I have never heard before, that he learned at daycare or from his grandma. I heard him sing the other day and it took me a while to figure it out, but he sang "I love lala mommy, yes I do, yes I do. I love my lala mommy, yes I do":luv:

And he also had the "stuck in there" dreams before too. that is so funny (not so much when he wakes up all the time).

Kudos for deleting facebook. It wastes a lot of time. I have to really limit myself to that in order to get things done. But its a nice way to stay in touch with people especially because I live so far away from my friends and family.

So my doc sent me to a perinatologist. So I go in today and had a Level II ultrasound done. My fluid levels are FINE. They're more than fine, in fact, they're awesome. Apparently the scans they were doing at my doc's office were inaccurate. The perinatologist said that there is no way I was in the danger zone on Tuesday if my fluid is so great today.

They also scared me because they were saying that my baby's femurs were too short and that's why they sent me to a specialist in the first place. They had me thinking she was going to be born a dwarf or something. Well apparently, the doctor said she's well within normal range and probably is just not going to be that tall. Too much technology makes people paranoid.

Susita, that is awesome. My perinatalogist was a Godsend. There was only one time that there was an incorrect reading on Enzo - they had him at a low birthweigt about 7 weeks before he was due - and then before he was born they had him at 8lbs...I was like OMG you're gonna hurt mommy. But he was a long, little guy - 6lbs 15oz and 20.5 inches. :D

Stef, I plan to reactivate it after this semester is over. Thats the nice thing about facebook, your profile actually never completely goes away.

Susita, glad to hear all is well. Your right about technology. Thats why I opted to not get all those extra genetics screens done. A good friend of mine spent her whole pregnancy in tears because she was told her baby was going to have down syndrome and baby was born, completely fine. I understand there are certains things you must know, but all the worrying sucks!!

My best friend is 12 weeks pregnant and is having high blood pressure problems. She went in and it was 140/80 so they are rechecking her monday and if its not down I suppose she will be on meds to control it. Please if u could say a small prayer for her <3

Mommies

Daddy and baby are sleeping so here I am, trying to have some ME TIME. Today we went egg hunting to my friends house,to be honest I never did the egg thing,it's not a costume in Peru over there we go to the beach and my family goes camping to the beach from Wednesday - Sunday, I wish I was there this year but you know.... well, the eggs came out really nice, daddy is off from work so he helped little Sofia who had no idea what we were doing. We had a great time, my friend has a nice property in Westchester, the yard is a like a park itself and they keep trying to convince us to move there,so far all of Silvio's best friends have move there so they are just waiting for us but ot be honest I don't see us living so far,I'm a city girl and I love to have everything so close (sm,gym, library, the city).

Facebook is a huge distraction, tell me I'm addicted to it, I check it twice a day and as soon as I finish I have to shut down the computer so I don't come back to check it every 5 minutes but is so nice to be able to be in touch with my family and friends from Peru,I just love it!

Kelly@ I can imagine how cute Zaid sounds when he sings :luv: ,Sofia loves music,I'm looking for music classes around my area but the only ones that are "close" are in Manhattan and are over $200 a month (too expensive if we add $ for the express bus),my parents are offering to pay for the classes but we don't fell comfortable with that so Sofia will have to continue listening to her mamy and daddy singing, poor kid. Did I mention that the only way to change her diaper is if we sign "If you are happy and you know it...."

Vi ~ Luis is jealous, everyone in San Bartolo is camping out at the beach this weekend and he's not :( He likes the traditions here for easter though, he says they are a lot of fun for the kids. We're coloring easter eggs today so that should be fun.

I am still waiting for this baby to come! I keep having contractions and they're starting to really hurt, but then they go away. Pfft! I'm going to go crazy today cleaning my house from top to bottom for tomorrow and maybe that will bring on labor,

Happy Easter everyone!! We colored eggs for the first time in forever yesterday. My husband had yesterday and today off, so we really get to enjoy a holiday together. Ben was up all night and he found all of his easter baskets at 7am this morning.. along with the neighbour kid. He is already passed out for his nap. haha. And the weather forecast is promising us 80ies this week, woohoo! What did your babies get for easter? We didn't do candy either, my husband put yogurt melts in the plastic eggs and other than that he got small toys and a Thomas the train flashlight.

Kelly: keeping my fingers crossed for your best friend.

We got the babies each a small stuffed sheep, some little people soccer players, and a chocolate bunny. My mom got them a chocolate bunny, some bunny sippy cups, and Little People Easter box that had eggs that were at a tea party with little people or being carried by a tractor. Not huge. Our kids are going to be raised in my husband's faith, but will get to experience the fun of this rite of passage of spring.

I'm a completely newby out here, but I hope to get some help from you guys. My husband and I have been talking about expending our family in the next couple of months. I just don't have a clue how things are organised here.....and no family on my site to ask who would know.

Do you go to a doctor before you're pregant or you wait a certain amount of weeks after you know you're pregant? How do you decide who you're seeing, you just google a little and pick a doctor or do you go by what is covered by your insurance (what if there are more doctors in my area).

I feel so helpless and stupid because they sound like simple questions everybody knows

Letty,

In my opinion you can go before or after, I didnt go until I knew I was a few weeks pregnant but I know several people who have gone while trying to conceive just to make sure everything is fine. More importantly though you should be asking around and looking for a doctor who you like and respect and who's policies you agree with. It seems to me that many women's pregancy and birth experiences are hugely impacted by the medical staff so you want to be sure you are with someone who you feel good about. For myself, I just asked around to my trusted friends who had babies in the last few years, asked them about their experience and what they did/didnt like about it. I found a midwife who worked in partnership with a couple of doctors and I LOVED her, she was awesome.

in the meantime, you may want to go ahead and start taking a prenatal vitamin :)

good luck!

@Kelly - hahaha I love your transcription of song lyrics! we get a lot of that too and it always makes me laugh.
