Well i hope Im not jinxing myself but baby is head down as of a few hours ago. Csection is cancelled and I go monday for another NST and cervical check. if the baby is head down they will start cervadil monday night and see how it goes. if my cervix ripens they will start pit, if not, ill go back 2 days and try cervadil again. As of today, cervix is still closed and high. The doctor called Salma an "unstable lie" lol and said I shouldnt be surprised if she turns again. Im hoping, wishing, and praying she stays where she is and I can have a successful induction monday/tuesday.

I would talk to your dr about the ParaGard IUD (non hormonal). If you did end up having heavy bleeding or cramping from it, they could remove it - then you'd be right back where you are, and really no worse off.

 I've just started cycle 3 I think, and I can't wait to remove it in September.

Thing is, it's quite an expensive implantation...but they figure the cost over 5 years and it winds up being 'economically advantageous' when you leave it in the whole time. Not so much to try on a whim though :(

Kelly -good luck with Salma btw!!!!!!!!!1

LOL! And thanks Lisa - you're awesome too! :)

LisaC currently has the ParaGard (copper) IUD -- Lisa, has it made you cramp or bleed worse?

just saw this Trace....TMI alert!

month one was a nightmare for both, month two was bearable - little extra bleeding, a bad cramp here or there, but I just started month three today, and it's a bit of a horrid b!tch. I have never been one to have bad cramps, nothing really to complain about....but this? My cramping today is so bad. Really awful. Bleeding is heavier, too.

oh and  ty!

@Chnst: You gotta have at least 3h of uninterrupted sleep, then take your temp before doing anything else, especially no getting up before taking your temp.

ok I'm out. I sometimes think I won't be able to sleep that much in one stretch for the rest of my life after what we've been through with Ben. :crying: He only wakes up once or twice now but I still wake up at least hourly. Maybe someday I can try this after the kids are out of the house, haha.

Kelly: wow what a surprise!! I hope she stays like this for you! Good luck with everything, I'll be thinking of you. I have to work and then we will be upstate for a few days because Ben (and MIL) are hosting a party for his little brother-to-be. hehe. Don't know if I'll be able to check in here.

Hope this delivery will be much faster!!! I had a mommy (second baby) yesterday who came in with contractions at 8:15, ruptured at 8:30, pushed twice and baby was born at 8:37. She was in total shock about how fast it went compared to the first baby, so I hope this is rubbing off on us, hehe.

Hoping for healthy mommies and babies, and an easy delivery all around :star:

Saludos,

Caro

Nothing new... Despite two super active days... We spent all day fixing up the basement as play area (carpet on the stairs, downstairs, glueing foam pads to the walls, reaorganizing stuff... All I got is a terrible back pain, my legs and hips hurt, but no contractions, all while Miss Eloise is dancing happily in my belly... Oh well.

@ Steffi: Take it easy... In Jona's pregnancy any activity brought on contrax... I just sat down and drank a whole lot of water or tea and took Mg sometimes... It's crazy how different pregnancies can be.

Good luck tomorrow Kelly. I'm so excited for you.

@chnst: Take it easy. You seem so stressed out lately. I don't think I would be able to do what you do. I hope your little man keeps cooking a little longer.

Thanks guys! Im trying to remain optimistic but I honestly cannot tell what position she is in at this point. If she is head down, she is very high up still. I can feel what I think is her back and her butt up in my ribs. We will see tomorrow I guess. Thanks again for the wishes
