Thanks, he is doing so good, the doc gave us a prescription for tylenol+codeine, but so far he is doing really well on Motrin. I was nervous that the codeine would constipate him again. It's a full time job to keep him from trying to rip the bandages off now. I need one of those big plastic dog collars haha.

wow Kelly way to go for even losing weight! How did you do that??? I am up @ almost 40lbs again.

I did lose the weight fast with Ben, and I continued to eat pretty much like during the pregnancy so I guess breastfeeding really does help burn more calories.

I missed my 32 weeks appointment bc of Ben's appointments, I haven't been to the doc since the glucose test. Tomorrow is the 33 week appointment and I haven't had a NST since being in the hospital. I kinda worry about the baby's heartrate, since it was so low last time. I tried to be good about lying on my left side but it's just so uncomfortable!

I am really getting nervous about handling 2 small children. Do you get that too? I guess part of it is because my boss told me I'd get 4- max 6 weeks time off for disability before I have to be back full time. She even made it sound like she'd expect me back even sooner. That is so depressing. I was hoping to get 12 weeks.

I just can't imagine to leave such a small baby so soon. And there is another mommy out on FMLA plus 2 people who retire in march so there is no way I will be able to get part-time anytime soon. I don't know what to do, I really love the job but the kids are only that little once and I don't want to miss out on all these things.

Thanks Kelly, Steff and Marm! I am super excited at the thought of being preggos again!

@Steff: I am so glad Ben is doing great and am praying that it all comes back normal. I totally get what you mean about being hungry all the time. I remember with Eman I would have this hunger that would not go away until I ate exactly what it was that I was craving...and it had nothing to do with healthy food...

@Kel: Wow! Give me your secret! I think that the main reason I am so set on doing this is that with Eman, I was diagnosed with post partum depression and so I feel that if I get into the routine of exercising it will help alleviate stress and some of those baby blues. Before having Eman and before meeting hubby, I was a runner and it really helped me emotionally and mentally. So I feel that it would be to my benefit to get into that routine again. While I know that medication is always good to deal with the PPD, I want to be able to supplement it with a lifestyle change.

@Marm: I know that I am probably being a tad bit more hopeful then I should, but I don't have my sight set on any particular weight as an ideal. I am just working out and making changes and will see where it leads me.

It's super exciting to hear that you gals are nearing the end. I can't wait to see the new additions to not only to your families but to the Baby Forum! Yayyy!

Thanks for all the feedback regarding the feeding challenges, ladies. Things seem to have improved, and I'm not sure whether it's the new "schedule," which wasn't as hard to impose as I'd feared, or she's just growing out of a newborn's feeding tendencies. Lisa, strange you should mention Dr. Brown's bottles, because we'd just started using them (we'd been using BornFree bottles before that and might again depending on how things go). I do think they might be helping. Madeleine has been bringing up the burp a bit quicker...I think?

Tracy, I'm actually not working right now, and haven't since a couple of weeks before Madeleine arrived. I should clarify my "fantasy" tho--I imagined I'd be able to get in a couple of hours of work during the day, while the baby napped, and then another hour or two after the husband returned home. I quickly learned that working in even a couple of hours would be difficult. As it is, I barely have time to do laundry, have something to eat (I must say, Madeleine's arrival has really cut into my precious VJ time!), and work in a nap. So, if I want to do any work at all, I'll have to find daycare on at least a part-time basis. In other news, I have a job interview tomorrow for a full-time staff copyeditor position. I'm actually pretty excited. I haven't had a regular full-time job since 2003. Since then, I've been freelancing either full or part time, and I'm burned out. I'd end up working nights and weekends no matter how hard I tried to confine it to weekdays, and I often took on too many projects. So, we'll see. Lots of changes afoot!

Stef, I'm thinking of you and Ben. I hope he heals up quickly.
