Thanks Jenn - at first I dont think I want the one that need to be put on the chair - my dinning room chair is a high back - all fabric type and it'll get all messy and hard to clean.. but may be I'll just cover the chair with plastic or something... I dont know.. too many to choose too many problems..

Anyway.. I went to search for Sam in gerber photo contest... i have to put in his full name!!!! darn it!!!! so if anyone want to help out  Sam full name is Nicholas Sam Luknight (stupid me to put in his full name and they dont do search on part of the name either) I'm going to vote again when i get home.. from 3 more computers ahahahah

Tracy - that's exactly what me pedi said too.. i'm not so concern about him as he's still gaining and growing like crazy from just my milk and it wont hurt if he slow down a bit hehe.. but my husband is so excited about giving him new things to taste(ice cream  !!!!) so we migth do it sooner than we plan..

This is the high chair we have - but again, haven't used it yet so no battle stories for you yet.

We have a simple Safety 1st plastic booster. It's been in use for about three years now. Baby can't sit in it unless it's able to actually sit by itself. That was ok with us though since we delayed solids (aka mommy was too lazy to wash more dishes :)). I can't complain about it. That thing is easy to clean, very sturdy and doesn't take any room away in our little kitchen.

We had two spacesaver dining seats at first. It turned into a disaster for us because our two figured out a way to loosen the straps and then kick off anything nearby to tip the seats. Considering my two houdinis, I would pay attention to how the tray attaches. The fisher price high chair someone gave us has latches on the side. My two figured out early how to get the tray off. The Eddie Bauer one we have only has a front latch and at almost 22 months, they haven'tfigured it out yet.

Emily's 4 month appointment is today. Anxious to hear how she's grown, but DREADING the shots (even tho they didn't make her sick or anything last time). Does everyone dread these too?

Yes definitely!! When Ben was so little I almost cried when he got his shots. We had him on a delayed schedule so he only had to get 1 or max 2 shots at a time. But it was still bad. I eventually realized that it was much harder for us than it was for him, bc he didn't have to go through the anticipation of the needle while we were totally nervous the minute we entered the waiting room. He sometimes didn't even cry, he grimaced and then he was over it. Now its kind of the opposite- he knows when she comes in with the syringe and he cries and tries to get away from it but he still gets over it very quickly (all he cares about is a spongebob bandaid and a lollipop). It gets easier with time, but I remember when he was this tiny little baby I was dreading the shots too.

Regarding the high chair- we had a space saver too and then something like the Stokke, we always used the space saver though because it was much more comfortable. Luckily Ben was never into climbing out of it or opening straps so we never had any issues. I like that it doesn't take up much room and it has a tray. I put Ben in there long before he was eating. He loved just hanging out and watching me cook/clean the kitchen (I really miss the mellow days sometimes!!)

Stef! AMEN! I miss the high chair. Definitly Zaids favorite place to hang out at 3-4 months old and on...

Zaid had a HORRIBLE reaction to a chicken nugget today :( I am finally breaking down and taking him into an allergist. His lip swelled so bad we were ready to call 911. Scary scary.

I hated Zaids shots and still do. They got easier at 6-12 months bc he didnt even cry for them but now he knows as soon as the nurse walks in with the syringe tray if he is getting them or not. Sad. Im NOT looking forward to doing it again with Salma

Shots are the worse! But she was over it about 15 seconds after I picked her up and really didn't seem at all different last night either. She had gained 3 lbs and 3 inches in length so that's good. She was in the 80th percentile there so I guess she's tall and fat or something. LOL. Though a friend of mine has a daughter 2 weeks younger than mine and she is WAY chunkier than Emily. So I don't feel so bad I guess.

A reaction to a chicken nugget? WOW. I think I'd be seeing an allergist too - that's scary!

Thank you ladies - I finally gave in and bought the same high chair Tracy has - that was my first choice anyway since it got the best review (I only read bad reviews and this one has none or at least it's so minor) I would love the space saver but my dining chairs are not suite for children in general :( (got them for free so cant complain)

Poor Zaid!! wow, chicken nugget? I really hope he doesnt have a lot of allergies - i couldnt imagine coz I've never have to avoid eating anything.

For the shot - I'm not so worry about it - the first time I was but the second time I didnt really care coz he got over it so fast - that's actually kinda funny coz I'm the one who's afraid of the needle lol - but some how I'm fine with seeing him getting shots.. hmm.. weird...

Ok - question - so y'all know I entered Sam on Gerber photocontest - I told my family and freinds in Thailand to help vote for him.. so they need US address to be able to vote so I gave them mine... do you think it's going to be a problem that many people using my address? (I dont really care) i'm afraid they would think it's a fruad thing....

I'm about to loose it with the gerber thing.. some times now my vote didnt registered or friends couldnt find Sam even with full name or ID and once they voted their vote didnt get registered... there are kids with 50+ votes on the second day alredy so I dont think Sam will ever gonna get it (but it's fun anyway) but I can already count 4 or 5 votes that Sam lost becasue the vote didnt registered

Oh and I'll just tell my family in Thailand to forget it, they just cant vote coz they dont live ehre :crying:

Oh no, poor baby. I think it's a great idea to take him just so that he doesn't go through that again. And btw, I love the name Salma. So no more Laila?

Hi, ladies

I hope that everyone and the little ones are well.

Our baby arrived October 27. I ended up having an unplanned C section because of the baby's positioning + cord compression. So, I'm pretty sore, but we're enjoying the crazy first days of the life of Madeleine Agnes:
