lol! Those stories are making me stress!! lol Sam is only 3 mo and I'm already imagine what' it like when he's older.

Sam and I just got our US passport!! Sam's pic is pretty cute, he has his hands in front of him and look right at the camera :) It's good for 5 years, I wonder if he'd look anything like his picture in 5 years lol.

Sam's also started to flip - He woke me up crying at 5am becasue he was on his back. He sleeps on his stomack so when he accidently flip to his back he didnt like it lol. He did it agaian the next night but then he havnt done it during the day time. Last night though he woke up every 3 hours... he's been sleeping 7-9 hours for a week so I was suprise to wake up at midnight to him crying. I hope this doesnt keep up, I'm at work and a zombie :(

So I've been pumping and it seems to me that my supply is getting lower every day :( I dont know what to do to make it goes up.. any suggestion? I only got like 5 oz on the first bag and 3.5-4 oz for the next two. I dont want to have to use formular, not now anyway (going to Thailand in Dec and sticking him to the ####### is a lot easier than bringing bottles!!)

Stef, thats hillarious. Ben reminds me alot of Zaid. When Zaid gets pissed off he threatens to throw EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING in the garbage. Its like his punishment to me. The other day we were walking through the mall (he refuses to sit in a stroller) and it was almost bedtime so he was a little crabby. Well i asked him a question and he got soooo mad so my husband just said "hunny just dont talk to him because hes so crabby" and 2 seconds later Zaid turned around, pointed his finger in my face and said "MOMMY YOU STOP TALKING TO ME OK? DIDNT YOU HEAR DADDY? IM CRABBY!!" LMFAO!!! I about died, and so did the 20 people around us who heard him scream it at me! These kids are really growing up too fast!

Anya, I didnt breastfeed so I dont know anything about it but I know Nessa had some supply issues and found something to help increase it, you may wanna private message her?

Vi, thats good that Sofia tells you poop. Zaid has been doing that for a long time, unfortunately, still wont poop on the potty tho ...Good luck! Shes getting so big

OMG...some of these stories are hilarious!

We have our hands full in our household at the moment. We have one who likes to push the other and another who likes to bite and pull hair. I lost track of how many timeouts we did this weekend. The only good thing, they behaved themselves at daycare today. I was telling my co-workers today that whomever said the hardest part of twins was the first 4 months was on crack. Twin toddlers is 10 times harder, and more fun! I have co-workers who had kids around the time we did. My two are well-behaved, generally, but are definitely much more inquisitive. They are in to EVERYTHING, have to see EVERYTHING, and give their input about EVERYTHING! Hana told Hicham the other night at dinner, "Baba. Eats. Sit down." I thought my husband did a double-take. Apparently his aunt in Morocco was always telling him to sit down and eat and to stop doing what he was doing. She is definitely going to be our precocious one!

  Thank you Steffi, I had a good lough reading this post. It certainly made me feel better about my kids behavior :). Drink Beer like daddy...lol. That's hilarious. I bet Ben is a funny kid. She sure does sound funny. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only mother struggling with tantrums in public and kids running opposite ways LOL.

Storytime here is usually fun. They do little songs and crafts. It's just the stories that my kids don't care about. They like to sing and jump around but sitting down for the stories doesn't work all the time.

ETA: I just saw that I wrote "....pills to subscribed to their kids" but I meant "prescribed" of course  . It was late when I posted that.

yeah you're welcome! haha. I could tell you so many more, but you know exactly what I'm talking about because the lollipop story and the dumped out lotion sounds all to familiar to me too. :P Ben is definitely a funny kid (like his daddy). He is starting to copy people and how they talk/walk. But sometimes it can get really really embarrassing. And I feel like once I try to stop him he will just let lose and get worse (also much like his daddy. haha). Chuck loves to watch the country music channel, and Ben was blurting out "mommy, you don't treat me no good no more" all throughout Walmart today... Hillbilly accent and all. I can't believe he is like a sponge and he remembers everything!! I don't know what happened to my cute little baby... He is so bold.

Anya: try to bf at least at night when you get home from work and maybe in the morning before work. There are some kind of prescription drugs that are supposed to help, but IDK, they aren't for everyone. Just try to pump as much as you can, the more stimulation the more milk you will probably make, like I would try to pump even after you nurse him at night and store that... Drink lots of fluids and take your time and relax, think about baby Sam when you pump. Good luck, it is definitely hard to keep up a supply when you work full time.

@Steffi - OMG that he was "drunk and drinking beer like daddy". Kids can be SO embarassing. one time I asked my son in public if he wanted a drink of juice and he said "no, I'll have a margarita". hahahhahha

@Samira - congrats on the new one coming! yay for babies :)

I cant believe she's almost 3 either. I tried to talk to her about what she wants for a birthday party and all she will tell me is she wants a yellow birthday. "Yewwo." umm, ok......

Anya: nurse him directly as much as you can at home, baby is stronger than the pump, which tells your body to make more milk. As for nutrition, plenty of fluids (water, herbal teas are best), nursing tea, fenugreek pills (health food store). Look at your son's picture while pumping, it stimulates letdown. There are meds such as Reglan but I'd talk to a lactation consultant first... ibclc is the best kind.

Uh typing on the phone is annoying! Last two days in Germany...

LOL, I don't think Ben ever saw his daddy drink more than one beer, on the weekend. Most of the time we don't even have alcohol in the house. When my MIL was watching him, she usually has a cocktail or something at night so she makes him a "cocktail" with canberry juice and a straw, so maybe that's where he got it.. I think he is at the age when he just wants to do everything like we we do, and he just can't tell the difference between a child and an adult.. Mr. Independent. haha.

Samira: congrats! wow 4 kids, kudos! When are you due?

Thank you ladies!!!

Chnst and Anne - I feed him in the morning once and twice at night - I know that's little but he doesnt want anymore, will try to feed him at least 3 times after work... I'm also trying to pump more often at work though.

I had been watching what food is good with my milk supply and I found that everytime I eat indian food I had more that day.. Soooo... I learn that tumeric is helping with the supply (and will make my skin beautiful to boot) so I took it this morning and voila!! I got 1 oz more lol. That's not bad for my first pill.. if it's not enough I'll cupple it up with some tea or something.

Mommies- where is everyone?? What are your little ones going to be for Halloween this year? I've learned my lesson from the past years (last minute costume shopping and nothing to choose from) and we got Ben's costume last weekend. He will be a cop from the Halloween police. He picked it out himself, it's so much fun to have him involved now.

Anya: pumping is a lot of work, after the first 3 months I had less and less, just enough to cover Ben's feedings but I couldn't get enough to have a supply in case I needed to bottle feed. I got maybe an ounce after 30 minutes of pumping. So keep eating indian food! :D I will keep that in mind for the next one, maybe I can get the hubby to take me out to an indian restaurant.

Allie is going to be a bumble bee, Adam is a firefighter. We got the costumes at Carters. They're totally cute and the kids chose it themselves

I'm wondering if professor dad is still reading here. He'll be interested to learn that my friend's nine month old babyboy is walking..without previous walk training. He can stand up unassisted and just walks. Who would have thought it .... kids learn to walk without being tought..sensational.

Adam is going to be a monkey. Can't wait! He was only a couple of weeks old last Halloween, so I didn't bother with a costume.

Speaking of pumping, hopefully I only have a couple more weeks to go. As long as he is able to transition to cow's milk during the day, I'll stop pumping. That's definitely true about the amount decreasing over time. When I first went back to work, I would pump for 10 minutes and get 5 or 6 ounces. Now, almost 9 months later, I'm lucky to get 3 ounces in a half hour. And, Adam goes to daycare three days a week now and they want me to send him with 15 ounces. I've been pumping 5 times a day in addition to nursing in the mornings, evenings, and overnight. I'm so looking forward to not pumping anymore!

Hi Mommies

We are enjoying a miserable weather here in NYC, that means we are stuck at home all day, well not really, we went for a walk around the block but neither of us enjoyed it. It's 3.50pm and can't wait until daddy comes home.

Sofia is going to be Red Riding Hood, hahaha my little red hair looks so cute in her costume, I got her costume in January and paid just $7.99 for it, great deal. My sister in law gets her kids costumes one day after Hallowen and always pays no more tha $5 for them.

I started walking when I was 9 months old too, and as far as I know nobody taught me.

Thank you for sharing about pumping ladies, pumping sucks :(

Sam is so young but I'll put him in a pumpkin costume and take some cute pictures :) In my neighborhood there will be a holloween parade so I'll carry him around just for something to do :)

edit to add that Sam probably will walk ealier too becasue he just loves to stand and everytime he stands he took steps since we was one month old, he loves to walk from my belly to my chin  HE can be in his jumperoo for a longest time just becasue his feet touches the floor (or a box in this case coz he's still too short) I'm actually pretty scare about this lol.
