I had a premonition last tuesday night in the form of a dream: me and my sweet lady were floating without a care down a beautiful lazy river in the pouring rain and laughing like crazy people (cant tell you about the rest of it-- ahem...). then i get an email today the 27th saying our I129f was approved on the 25th... they sent it three times to be sure! the 25th was the night I had the dream... what a trip.

I hope right now`s not a dream or I`ll be pretty F*&^ing salty when I wake up! Arrrrrr.

Im also hoping the rest of this process isn?t so painful. Not exactly sure how long it hangs out at the NVC before going to the embassy, but i guess i`ll find out.

I was a little hesitant to share this because I know theres plenty other people waiting longer, but then I remember how bad I wanted to see approvals of other folks on the forum because it shows that things are indeed moving along.

I bet they`ve got a ton of these approvals ready to mail out, so I think we`re all gonna get hooked up really soon.

congrats....... I am really happy for you. I just checked the status on my application and there was a touch after they got my 2nd RFE on 21st. Cant wait for the approval too:)

I sent my RFE's back, and STILL NO email stating that they received them!!! WEEP!!! Although, my I-130 keeps getting touched..so here's keeping the fingers crossed. CONGRATS on your approval!!!

chris&o, you've kept us all laughing through uncertain days, and we'll need more of your humor (and premonitions) in days to come. Enjoy the high, my friend, and know we're all sending you virtual pats on the back!

Laura_and_IanM, hang in there. There's no way to predict what the government will do. I was among the last to receive the 2 RFEs and then to be transferred from Vemont to California. But look, I was among the first to have the I-129f approved. Go figure.

When we look back a year from now, we'll understand how things worked out for the best. Perhaps your I-130 is your lucky charm and you may not realize it yet. You're being touched! Your job now is to stay positive and do what you have to do to keep from becoming "touched in the head"!
