I went through K-1 visa process and have had my medical should i include a copy of vaccination record or something? or just mention it in covering letteR?

Also i've read somewhere you need 2 passport pics for I-765 & I-131 as well as the two for I-465... needing 6 in total.. is this right???? think this is maybe if filing forms separately, I'm filing together so think I only need two???

Sorry a lot of info but you guys are a fountain of knowledge, and honestly don't know how i''d have got this far without VJ so hats off to you guys!

Thanks!!!

The I-485, I-765 and I-131 need 2 passport-style photos EACH so SIX (6) photos total. :)

Also, you will need the I-693 with Parts 1, Part 2 (Vaccinations) and Part 5 (Civil Surgeon's Certification) filled out by a Civil Surgeon.

(It seems like a lot of people have been getting RFE's for just sending the vaccination record from the overseas medical - you can still include a copy of it just in case)

I got this off the USCIS website which is why i thought that being a K-1 i don't need medical...

"Medical Examination

If you received a medical examination prior to admission as a K nonimmigrant, then you are not required to have another medical examination at time of adjustment as long as:

* Your Form I-485 is filed within 1 year of your overseas medical examination

Even if a new medical examination is not required, you still must show proof that you have complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original, overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. "

I have this DS 3025 so i was just going to include this in my packet?? This to me states I dont need to do another Medical?

oh and whats an RFE?? is that silly Q? Thanks!! :S

Yup! K-1's don't need another medical if you file your I-485 within 1 year of the overseas medical.

RFE = Request for Further Evidence

People used to just send their DS-3025 (all required vaccinations completed) and got approved but now it seems like as of November 2009, the USCIS has become more strict and the info on the DS-3025 has to be transcribed/transferred to the I-693. The hard part is finding a Civil Surgeon that will do just the transcription and not require you to have the full medical. :(

If you look at your DS-3025 the incomplete box is checked. After the Center for Disease Control (CDC) changed the vaccinations requirements (in 2009?) most applicants still need shots. You can try just sending in a copy of the DS-3025.
