Toyota sends new pedals to plants, not dealers, owners must wait for repairs

And I have to agree, there's a difference of the ones made in Canada/US and Japan. The problem cars? Pedals were designed by an American company instead of using the Japanese ones they usually use. Guess they learned their lesson with that.

What a bunch of #######.

The component was made to Toyota's exact specifications. Why do you think the pedals used

in Toyota vehicles were not shared by other auto makers? Because each auto maker creates

their design and CTS (the company implicated in the recall) builds to those specifications.

Think what you want, but I'd rather listen to someone who actually works for the company in question and has to deal with this problem personally.

Think what you want, but I'd rather listen to someone who actually works for the company in question and has to deal with this problem personally.

Budweiser can't even make the beer taste the same from every one of their breweries. I am sure the same applies to assembly plants and vendors. :star:

There used to be a skill in keeping beer in optimum condition - publicans were skilled. No longer, it's all samey and at the lower end of acceptable :(
