No Danno, I simply said that not everyone is sensitive to other people seeing them in the shower. I also pointed out that seeing other people showering, either of the same sex or of the opposite sex doesn't naturally and inevitably lead to the observer perving on the observed.

You are not perving on your wife, she gives you permission to appreciate her sexually and act on it. However, I expect she'd draw a very firm line if you started acting on sexual feelings towards other females, and rightly so. I understand that men get hard ons when they see attractive female forms, but they DO NOT HAVE TO ACT ON THEM and if you do, you are a perv with impulse control issues. How hard is this to understand?

Idiotic. Men can and do control sexual urges all the time. Those that do not end up in jail for rape. It is not ok to act on a sexual urge unless you have permission to do so. Having a shower is not a sexual act, nor does it say 'come have sex with me'. I have to wonder about some of you guys and your morality and self control.

I have no problem with people keeping their private lives to themselves. "Common sense" would be to treat heterosexuality and homosexuality on an equivalent basis.

Not really, no.

I expect people to exercise self control in all walks of life, in all types of situations. However, there are modesty issues that have nothing to do with worrying about someone sexually assaulting you which would impact such an idea. The bottom line is that men shower together in all situations and no one worries about whether or not they are showering next to a gay - except in the army. That's silly.
